The main flaw is AI managers. Leaving massive players out of squads for 0 reason. It’s unacceptable and ruins any sort of immersion -
Yet to play the game in months, an advertised feature of smarter AI being completely false. Not including big players in squads for finals, stupid transfer logic etc, we were lied to, all immersion killed.

Same thing happening here, this is a champions league final, no Foden, Stones, Walker or Alvarez even in the squad.

AI managers if anything have become worse than FM23, leaving star players out of the squad completely for youth players who haven't played a game all season. City just played a champions league final in my save and left out fully fit Stones, Walker, Alvarez and Foden for youth players, even some players who had returned from loan the same week! Better AI squad building and selection logic was advertised as a MAIN FEATURE of this game and also mentioned in the last major update, this is simply not good enough.

Same thing happening for me. Man City after a big game, are dropping haaland from the match day squad for a teenager to be on the bench. For example, they had played Bayern winning 3-0 in ucl semi final. The next game was a must win against man united in the league, haaland and de bruyne were both dropped from the squad for youngsters to sit on the bench. Made me turn the game off, no immersion at all now.

Any update on this?? Has happened to me too, Maxi Gomez joined Tottenham for 12.5m and on the same day was loaned to Man City with option to buy for 13m. Not losing money but still not realistic?
