Out of the park baseball (OOTP) has a “live start feature” where you can start at the current live schedule in real life. All results, transactions, statistics, players and staff are up to date. This feature would be perfect to use for example taking over Aston Villa after Gerrards recent sacking. Another thing I would like to see in future FM games is getting to manage club reserve teams (U-20, U-19, etc.) it seems only you can manage youth national teams and not club. I’d like to start my managing journey at a low youth level and then hopefully with results become a candidate for the first team role or another club. Hopefully this changes in the future. lastly I would like to have the power to hire a Jose Mourinho, Pochettino or any other manager to my club. I want to hire and fire. I think you know where I am going with this without saying it since it’s been suggested many times.

I like to reference a feature currently in the game OOTP (Out of the Park Baseball). There is a “Live Start” feature that you can enable before the start of a new season. Basically when enabled, you can take over which ever team of your choosing and resume the real life schedule. Current standings, stats, transactions, player ratings and results get pulled from real life data. So take over at any point in the season that remains in real time. Basically, can you do better than the manager in real life? It’s always nice to compare your results and performance to the club in real life.
