  1. Your explanations also contradict each other. You're saying that Solanke in my save doesn't have any value because he's 27, but in the meantime you're giving an explanation to my Saudi Pro League point with mentioning some players who are all over 27 . This way we can argue this topic forever. Btw I don't see Transfermarkt as a valid information source, for me that's just a website where the admin guys make some changes on their spreadsheets here and there and then share those numbers, luckily for them they got noticed by people(but this is just my opinion, probably wrong again). This is not personal, but you're trying to convince me that I'm looking at things from the wrong perspective, while the same post has a bunch of other people sharing screenshots and facts, which confirm that I'm not that wrong.
  2. I see you have an answer for everything. Explain one more thing :). Why after I decided to leave the club (I got tire of players bitching about not being allowed to leave for the ridiculous £1,5m fees), suddenly all the player values had jumped up? Cannot check coefficient ranking, but during the last season I was the only Hungarian team playing in a European competition. I know you have a good scientific explanation to this as well, but let's be serious
  3. Thank you for you post, for some people it's hard to admit that this is not normal, so they try to throw it back on me. Your reply fully reflects the problem.
  4. Pointless to compare the real situation of the team in 2014-15 and the state of my team in FM. As said, I played in the group stage of CL in 6 seasons in a row, I played an Europa League quarter final and an Europa League semi-final. My team currently is 22 in the club coefficient ranking. If real life worked like this, then teams like Dinamo Zagreb, Dinamo Kiev or Sahtior Donetk would have no value and players like Mudryk or Dani Olmo would not exist at the highest level. In real life Denis Man(who in my opinion is not a Seria A level player) was sold for more to Parma by FCSB, than Solanke by me to Norwich. I understand why players are more valued in the Premier League, but before I signed Solanke, his value was around 12mill, straight after I signed him that was cut to 2mill, after selling him (I sold him for 6.75mill after around 10 negotiations), it jumped back to over 20mill. We are talking about the same player, this is non sense. If for some reason in real life Solanke decided to play for an East European country now, I'm sure his value wouldn't be affected that much. Good example for this is the Saudi Pro League, all the guys who went there did not lose their value. Not sure if my concern is clear enough here, some improvements need to be done about this .Probably it's not a bug, the way how this algorithm was built is just wrong, and after a while is disappointing that you try build up something with a smaller club, but it's impossible.
  5. Your players at least get rated around 8-10mil. All my player's price is sealed to 2.5mill, is not going above that not even a penny. I've been managing Ferencvaros for 6 seasons, being in Champions League groups every year and recently made it to the Europa League semifinals. It wouldn't be a problem, if Premier League teams would not come with some really ridicolously low offers and then my players become unsettled. Doesn't make sense that a player is unsettled become I'm not accepting a 1,6mill offer for him. Funny part is that once they are transferred to PL, their value jumps over 20mill. All ********, no way anyone can explain the poor quality of the game engine in this aspect. To give you an exact idea, look at my squad, look at Solanke's value (yes that's that Solanke). Top 2 players were purchased for over 7mill (first 11mill second 7mill).
  6. i never watch football. I spent too much money on FM, so can't afford tv licence.
  7. Here I'm moaning about something again. Has anyone ever experienced the following? My club was doing really well, until I accepted to manage Croatia's national team as a second job. Now I know that injuries occur more often in a national team squad, but what I'm experiencing is that the game engine applies the same logic on my club squad. In that one season when I accepted the national team job, I had more injuries, than the previous 6 seasons. Every game someone injured. I had a game when 3 of my players got injured. At some point I had 10 players out due injury. My star defender signed a new contract with the highest wage within the team, next day he got injured and he's out for 5 months. My goalkeeper got hip injury, out for 4 months. I get a serious broken arm every month. This is not normal. Before we get into theories what I'm doing wrong, fyi I do watch out for player fatigue, and rest them accordingly. Training intensity is not high, and the injuries occur straight after season start. I always look at medical record of players before signing. I also hired the best medical staff I could, I even required to extend the number of them. As I said, I never experienced this on my entire save. Once I signed a very injury-prone young Bosnian striker, when I was managing AC Milan in the same save, and he never got injured in my squad (I managed to sell him for £90m after a few years). Just wondering if anyone else ever experienced something like this when managing both club and national team at the same time? Thinking to give up that national team job, hoping that will set everything back to 'normal'
  8. I replayed it once. I won with 3-1 with clear dominance.
  9. Thank you for your intention to help, it's much appreciated. Now as you quoted me from a previous post, I'm not a very good a player, but I can still spot players marked as orange with the text Complacent added to them. Not sure if you read my post fully, I mentioned that my players were not complacent, nervous or showing any other worrying mental state. My team talk simply was saying to not get complacent, to which all the players reacted well. I didn't make significant tactical changes, just changes mentality to Balanced to not make my players waste too much energy. Also I did not say that there was any problem with my save; that was the 14 game of the season, until then I had 2 losses, 11 wins and this was my first draw. I was dominant in all my games (as I was here until half time). So yeah. I do get your point, btw I did watch some of that guys's videos (he has an interesting one about the "scripted" aspect of the game), as I also follow Zealand time to time. I do post things as a result of my frustration time to time, but this time I just wanted to see what others think and how can it be related to any real life scenario. And you're right, in real life no one would be football manager with my skills. That's absolutely true, but I'm afraid that neither you or anybody else would succeed with their super FM skills . We are talking about a piece of software, you choose your press conference answers from the same 5 options, you combine your player instructions from the same set of settings by choosing the one which is compatible with your players, and in my save just reached the year 2036 when Zidane is still managing RM . I also mentioned above, that probably the use of the word "unrealistic" is not the right one in this context. When someone makes a complaint about the difficulty of the game, the agony of losing streaks or any other issue, the final answer is always that this is a simulation, and the goal is to place you in a position of a real life football manager by throwing random profitable and less profitable events on you. My final point is, that the game of the screenshot I shared above does not simulate anything, In real life you won't see Vallecano to equalize from 6-0 against Barcelona . If it was the other way around and Vallecano had 6 goals lead with the dominance I had, me ( or you, or anyone else, even the Rashidi guy ) wouldn't be able to put the team back in the right mindset. You made a conclusion based on my previous posts, which is fair. But I think everybody has a right to highlight any concerns, and although many of my previous posts were driven by anger and frustration, in this instance I can calmly confirm: what happened in that game is not normal. The odds for a team, which had 4 shots (with one on target) and possesion less than 40% in the first 45 minutes to come back in the second half and score 5 goals without conceding any is very low. In this scenario is almost 0. The reason why sometimes I don't have that relaxing time while playing, is that I see FM as a game, a program. I recognize certain repeated patterns, and it makes me feel that I do not have any control over these patterns. I should just compromise and let it go. Thanks again.
  10. I don't thinks there is any point to look at shoots on target or any other similar statistics. I dominated the first 40min of the game with over 60% possession, until their first goal they had 4 shots , 1 on target. All my players had ratings over 7, some of them over 8, while all the opponent's players under 6.5, a couple of them under 6. My player were not complacent. Even if I gave the worst possible team talk and they made the right tactical changes, it won't explain such a turn on the game's picture. I understand your point, this is a game, but when something like this happens I feel fully cheated, it's like in the halftime the game engine decides to steal the victory from me (especially the Real Madrid also made a draw on the same day, it feels linked - but I know that's just in my mind ) Probably the word "unrealistic" is not the best way to express my concern, but I would just say this is not right. Something like this shouldn't happen, either in this game nor in real life. I shouldn't be bothered by such oddities I know, but there are a lot of aspects of this game, which make it really hard time to time and they are explained as part of this REAL LIFE simulation. And let's say this Vallecano team might have the capability to achieve what they just did, they have the right mentality, the quality and a brilliant manager. Possible ... but then my next question is .... why they have this poor record?
  11. Show me a real life game, where any te am could get back from 6-0 against Barcelona. There would be clear suspicion for bribery . It's so unrealistic, that it's worth a save scum.
  12. There is no option to fine them for cards, only for poor performance. Also, they get fined by the code of conduct, but they keep doing the same ****. I just got rid of those players.
  13. It's also very exciting to play european cup/league games against premier league teams. Just had a super cup final against Manchester Utd ,where they turned the score from 3-0 . There are definitely predictable segments of the game which favour these teams. Not feeling any point to play european cup finals, when the winner already decided before the game. Every season is the same draw against the same english team.
