Do people usually try buy the stadium? I’m on FM23 but thinking about it. How much does it usually cost and what are the main financial benefits ie does it take long to make it worthwhile?

This happens to me too. Pick the team, we go on losing runs. Leave it alone and they start winning. Some times I pick the team and then the B team coach just does random stuff like strikers in midfield So annoying.

How does everyone deal with the B team with regards to player selection. Do you just let the B team coach pick the players and stay out of the way? I was finding that if I did that, some of my best prospects weren’t getting games so I had to loan them out to get them games. I also started going in manually and picking the team but sometimes it gets changed by the manager for games. I’m also getting my team sometimes filled with a greyed out player when I have an actual player on that position on the bench. It’s a bit annoying really and not sure why it’s happening

Thanks for the replies all. Annoyingly my B team is in C division still so some of my better prospects are outgrowing that league. Would ideally get that team promoted but don’t want waste some players development in that league. Ended up promoting 2 players; potentially a tiny bit early but there’s a need in the squad for them and nothing on the market I can do to fill the gap. Hopefully they handle it ok

I’ve been doing a Bilbao save on FM23. I’m three seasons in and have been a regular CL participant. Just wondering how do most handle the better youth prospects. I’ve got a few that are 2 star CA, 5 star PA that are around 17/18 age. I’ve given them bits and pieces of first team action and they’ve done well when played. I’m thinking I’m at a point where I can give them more first team footy and kinda just throw them in the deep end. There all 2nd division standard. Was thinking of leaving them in the B squad (3rd div) so they get plenty of games still and fill the gaps when needed. Feel like this is better than loaning them out and there’s not loads of options on the transfer market anyways so it’s almost by necessity. Anyone had downsides to this approach?

2075 Challenge completed!!!! So at long last I have finished the challenge. After leaving Iran I couldn’t get another Asian job for another 7 years at which point I took the Iran job again in 2070. Like last time, I was good enough to make the QF but I lost to South Korea 2-1 which was right in line with expectations. Luckily the China job became available and they looked quite the powerhouse. Between then and the next Asian Cup in 2075 I won 2 East Asian Cups and made the QF of the World Cup so I was feeling confident. As expected, the group stage was pretty easy and won 3/3. Unfortunately first place was a stitch up and got me on the hard side of the draw. The round of 16 was against Qatar I used the occasion to rest my team as well as the last game of the group and won convincing with a 5-0 win. In the QF I drew South Korea and smashed them 3-0. It was a routine win and showed dominance from start to finish. In the SF it was Australia’s time and the first half was very edgy finishing 0-0. Early in the second half in the 50th minute Australia struck. I made a few alterations and I struck back with two goals in the 54th minute and 70th minute to gain the lead. A few scary moments ensued but I held on and got the win in an even game. One good thing about a hard draw was the final was against an easy team. The Saudi’s proved just this. It took awhile to get the break through but I did in the 43rd minute and from there the goals flowed and I finished up winning 7-0. So all in all, I finish the challenge in 2075. A bit longer than expected but the club side was finished in 2049 so it’s just these last two tournaments. Next time I’d like to tick off the continental international trophies earlier; especially the ones that only come every 4 years. It’s been great to try a whole bunch of different leagues and nations out.
