To prevent unauthorised users from joining your online game, you can configure the settings to 'Friends Only' or, more securely, establish a server password. With a password in place, access is exclusively reserved for individuals to whom you have provided the password. all can be found in Online preferences

As we approach the end of FM24, I thought it would be best if we updated our story so far. as we hit the 2nd half of season 2046/47 and with time fast running out for FM24, we should take this moment to recognise the achievements of Neil at Mansfield/Birmingham /Newcastle/Liverpool and the longevity of Davie at Colchester, as he’s the only original member that’s stuck with the same team since day one. naturally we’ll be playing until the last weekend before FM25 drops. Plans for FM25 for FM25 we'll be doing a build a nation online game, instead of the normal big nation online game Only looking at leagues in Wales, Rep of Ireland & Northern Ireland... starting in the Welsh 2nd tier...no opening of any other leagues! trying to take these nations to the top of the competition reputation table while trying to outwit our fellow human managers on the road to European glory!!! current managers and teams Colchester – Davie Liverpool – Neil Jonny – Newcastle Kieran – QPR Fulham - Taavi Arsenal – Rob Rangers - Yoshi Celtic – Alex Job centre - Japp

As a host of a very successful online game with twelve players. it has come to my attention we still have certain skins that allow network players the facility to see current/potential ability. To say that this is a major disappointment is an understatement, it's almost killed my online game. it’s not fun playing a game when players are just blatantly cheating and more importantly undermining the integrity of the game. I originally quit hosting in FM15 due to this issue and actually hoped it had been fixed. fair enough if you choose to use this method in a single player game so be it. So I was wondering if such a feature could be removed from the online side of the game moving forward?? For example, you could only use the same skin as the host or better still no skins? The reason we found out is because one of the players decided to take a screenshot of something and it was in the screenshot we could see all the CA and PA of the player. And as you could possibly imagine a lot of players weren't happy about it. we're currently in season 2041/42 so a lot of time has been spent playing this game. sadly we don't have the screenshots as they've since been deleted.

Removing a banned manager with a password?

this is what we done by pure chance. added an user as an admin. the host puts in 'sportsinteractive' into the password, they'll get incorrect password message.... the newly promoted admin, then clicks to log into the manager in question, they either get in or the host try's again and they get in. we've done it twice now and removed two managers who had password protected. -
we're currently way half thru season 33/34, which is our 11st season. we are looking for new blood!!!! this is a serious game, our players are FM researchers/FM beta testers and general FM gods!! we are more than happy to give n00bs a fair crack of the whip. our discord!!!
