FM23's match engine might be the worst I've ever experienced, It feels like I never concede normal goals. Everything is either a CB/GK error, a stupid penalty, or my opponents CB/CM who has 5 passing pinging a 50 yard diagonal through ball and tearing my defence apart.

Does anyone else have issues with dumb headed clearances from defenders?. A long ball will be coming to my CB as he’s running back to goal, and under no pressure he’ll just head it straight to the opposition for the easy counter attack.
