  3. The recommended specs suggest any of the Apple M chips will be fine for high settings.
  4. That one I've linked is around 1.8kg, so it is a little bit heavier than a Macbook Air, but says battery life up to 10 hours. It's the best stated battery life I found with something which meets the recommended specs.
  5. Truth is, to meet the recommended specs, a gaming laptop is required as you need a dedicated graphics card, that said you can still do anything else you want to on a gaming laptop and it doesn't need to have all the RGB stuff. Something like this would probably be what you're looking for, but it does depend on your budget: https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8489166?clickPR=plp:13:33
  6. In terms of Macbooks, as long as it's one of the M1/M2/M3 type line, the specs suggest those will be fine. Out of the three, I'd choose the 2nd MSI personally though.
  7. The Steam page mentions the GTX 960m being the minimum, but then also suggests some iGPUs will be ok, so it's kinda mixed messaging right there, but your concerns could well be justified. My suggestion would be to wait until the demo comes out and see how it runs. SI have previously stated that the 2D mode will remain, so I imagine at the very least your laptop would manage that.
  8. Very odd choice of CPU/GPU pairing. It meets minimum specs, but I imagine the game will progress quite slow with that CPU.
  9. I also see the price on 2game as £36.88, Perhaps the price was lower to begin with? I have used Instant Gaming myself in the past (not for FM) and it was fine for me, but as with all grey market sites your milage may vary!
  10. Assume you mean this one? https://www.currys.co.uk/products/acer-nitro-v15-15.6-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-rtx-2050-512-gb-ssd-10264766.html Similar CPU, weaker graphics card. The one at Argos is the one I'd choose of the two.
  11. Is that definitely the correct CPU model? That's a very old CPU with a relatively new graphics card.

  13. That's the same spec you asked about earlier. As previously stated, yes for minimum requirements, but it does not meet the recommended.
  14. Should be ok for low graphics - getting to recommended would involve quite a significant cost (£800ish or more).
  15. You are reading that correctly. And yes, my understanding that the Arc iGPU is stronger than the Iris XE.
  16. Perhaps rather than the "When will be beta drop" speculation thread, we can do a "Will there be a beta at all" speculation thread in its place 😂😉 It feels a shame to lose an annual tradition 😁
  17. On the plus side for you guys, there may not be a beta speculation thread this year lol.
