    I tell you what Dave, just for you, I’ll go back to FM23 and do you some screenshots of how many times it happened in my long term saves. Did you choose to ignore how I’ve only had 1 cup draw on my current FM24 save?

    It hasn’t yet as I’ve only had one cup draw in my main save. Weirdly, it is dependent upon being in the cups. Although I did get Chelsea in the cup 2 games after I played them in the league. I’ll keep an eye out for you Dave, and report back my findings 🫡

    I personally think it’s unbalanced - I noticed with a recent FM (FM 22 or 23 maybe) that new questions/ answers had sneaked into press conferences around playing the same teams in a short period of time. So that is why it’s “scripted”, so that you can use their new responses. It happens far too frequently to be “luck of the draw”.

    It’s not in their interests to advertise negativity on the game is it? It happens to me all of the time, I’m on restricted posting so they simply don’t “approve” my posts that are constructive criticism, even though I am not breaking any of their message board rules. This one won’t be approved so not sure why I’m wasting my time typing it to be fair. I’m enjoying the game in the main, but it is so clearly littered with bugs, fundamental issues that should’ve been fixed before the game was released in full - that have been reported and have followed on from FM23!

    In November 2023, with Arsenal sitting 5th. I was hoping that this sort of thing was going to be sorted in FM24 😞. In one of my FM23 saves just before 24 was released, Arteta, Klopp and Pep had left their respective clubs by the second season. It’s not great that mind.

    Started an additional save, to observe ME behaviour with a top side, first injury of preseason, guess what it is......... It's a groin injury!!

    Mine went up late on when I was losing and I’ve seen the AI do it. I was on very attacking mentality I think. I didn’t send him up he just did it. It does seem ridiculous you can’t “choose” to do it.

    Injuries since I started my save above - I'm into the 2nd week of August. As I said previously, I had a look through some fellow Championship squads and most of them have the same issue. Groin, groin, groin, groin........ And another:

    Just went through 10 or so squads in the Championship on my Sunderland save, and the amount of injuries each team has is insane!

    I do love the tactical flexibility mind! I've got some naughty interchangeable tactics set up.

    It’s the same issues every year without fail. Player Conditions need sorting Issues scoring penalties Too many injuries These are the same mistakes year after year. They’ve thrown injuries to goalies in this year along side set pieces being ridiculously overpowered.

    Same thing is happening to me sporadically. It’s never happened with any other FM either.

    I'm finding the second halves as a whole are like playing peak Barca. The context of the game seems to completely change if you're beating the AI at half time. The game seems far from ready to be the full version.

    I use kit packs but not 3D. Does custom (real life) kit affect this? The in game kits haven’t been touched.

    Yeah that’s him. I really struggled to find a good goalkeeper so had to settle for him. He’ll be moved on at the end of the season believe me 😂
