Weird, I never saw it pop up, but haven't had time to mess with it lately so it could be something that's become an issue.
Could be because I avoided advanced rules so far.

Not sure if I needed to, but I updated to make sure it ran with the latest version of the game.
That being said, still working when I have time, but man it gets tedious scouring the internet trying to figure out who has what academy team and who plays where.
Getting there, but may jump to the advanced editor for a bit to see if I can get rules working there.
As it stands, it should work as a normal USA world as accurately as possible based on 2022.
Gonna make a 2023 league as well (you can use Nrazil or Canada's 2023 start date when setting up the game) to reflect team movements, but the stats and 2022 winners wont exactly line up.

Sorry about that, I'll look into it. Haven't had as much time to fiddle around lately.

Unfortunately not. It looks like they no longer participate in the NPSL and only field academy teams at random.

Updated to version 0.02. This version should be a playable, stable version of all US professional leagues.

Currently stress testing with all the professional leagues (academies TBD). Noticed a couple things I'll need to change (i.e. table sorting has to be set at the subdivision level...) NISL is NISA, forgot the correct name of it. Teams down to the NPSL are a bit weird as some teams compete in both USL2 and the NPSL. Just duplicating teams and making the NPSL 'B' affiliates for now.
Also, if anyone knows if there's roster rules for NPSL or NISA let me know, their websites don't give any info.
Plan:
v0.02 - Finish testing all the leagues, release version 0.02 (this will be playable with all the professional leagues)
v0.03 - Figure out if I can do expansion in the basic rules for lower leagues in 2023 (i think i figured it out but haven't tested it yet)
v0.04 - Edit teams for affiliations, stadiums, colors, etc.
v0.05 - Edit media, weather, other miscellany
v0.07 - Start figuring out how academies work in this country and hopefully add those (end of the basic rules editing)
v0.10 - Use the existing edited teams to create the structure in advanced rules (would be separate file)
v0.10x - Add promotion/relegation to it all without breaking MLS. (would be separate file)0 -
Decided to start fiddling with the editor more and plan to slowly work up to editing a US database in the advanced rules, but wanted something to play until I had time to figure it out.
This is the 2022 USA league structure edited with ONLY the Basic Rules editor. There's only so much that can be changed (MLS and US Open Cup are hard coded in basic rules).
Will do my best to mimic real life given the constrictions from the basic editor (i.e. USLC games uneven by conference, limitations on fixture dates and playoff sizes).
Once leagues are set I plan to edit teams for sponsorships and affiliations, and see if I can at least get teams in the right place for the 2023 season as well.
If you notice spelling or naming errors, let me know. Every time I save changes it undoes some previous changes so names of competitions seem to revert at random.
Also, if you need logos/faces/kits, download a pack. Sorry, I'm barely competent at editing. There are people far better at graphics who I won't be stealing from. **EDIT** I don't plan on trying to do an NCAA league to replace USL League Two for drafting purposes (I'm not a masochist).
This makes the following leagues playable:
MLS (unchanged)
USL Championship
USL League One
USL League Two
US Open Cup (unchanged)
NISA
MLS Next Pro
NPSL
*MLS Academy
*USL Academy*Means not yet implemented.

Not sure if anyone else is having a problem, but the MLS waiver draft and the MLS Re-entry Draft stage 1 don't seem to occur after 2022. I still get it in my inbox, but the drafts don't take place.
Weirdly, the Re-entry Draft stage 2 does take place.

Does anyone know why the MLS scheduling fails testing if I only change the USL Championship scheduling?
Was fooling around and tried to get the 2022 USL schedule close to real life, but each time I try it causes 2022 MLS to fail by having an MLS group 0 team play too many games. I don't change anything with MLS. I assume it has to be with how the MLS2 teams interact with parent clubs and counting games. I literally opened the editor, changed to USL schedule and tested. It failed, so I changed the USL schedule back and it passed.
Also, I was able to finagle the editor to add STL to MLS in 2023, but my PC is fairly slow so it is taking forever to sim long enough to see if it works in-game correctly (exp draft, normal drafts, ...). It passes editor tests.

SI really timed 22.4 well for you, huh.
edit: I went ahead and verified the file for 22.4 for owncredible. Once he puts out a new version, I would use that though. No other changes have been made.

Yeah, definitely seen some strong initial created players in MLS next teams and college with the addon. Not sure if there's much you can do in the editor unless it's a reputation thing for the B teams.
In one save I signed a 18 y/o college guy to a usl1 contract for $10k p/a. Sold him 6 months later for 3 quarter of a million to a German 2nd tier team, a year later Munich paid like $5 million and he was worth $80 million plus. Also saw a new gen start the World Cup for the US after being signed by Man Utd.
Basically, I don't scout the NCAA in the game if I play in the USL because it's too easy to sign OP players for peanuts. Just wait until after the draft and try to sign guys that weren't drafted. Seems the fairest way and somewhat true to life.

Fyi, with the updated rosters from 22.3, you can start in early 2022 if you load either Brazil or Colombia.
I found Colombia better because it's closer to MLS preseason, but after the expansion/super draft. Charlotte gets way too good if they get to do the drafts with their full roster.

Any chance you can add foreign player rules to the USL divisions? If I'm reading real life rules correctly it's 7 per team, but there doesn't appear to be a limit in FM.
There's also confusing loan rules and I think a 35 player limit as well.
I had done it in a previous version for myself, but now I can't open the editor to do anything.
