Anybody else get Bilbao withdrawals when you start another save? Started a save with Roma after long term Bilbao save and find myself more interested in peaking at Bilbao than my Roma team. I have my eye out for Basque talents (Sociedad has a world class potential CB in first intake). I must say, the computer absolutely butchers the squad. Already sold Vivian and Simon after first year. Made me think it might be good exercise to try and get Bilbao job 10-15 years into save after being mismanaged for a long time and best players sold off. Might make it a bit more challenging.

I am up to 2030/2031. Battling with Real Madrid for the league each year. I have won it 4 times but they have now gotten me two years in a row. Interesting that Barca usually challenges for Champions League they are usually some way off the pace for the title year over year. I am only buying Basque newgens and have found the other Basque clubs are sucking with intakes and am rarely getting anything out of there. The AI also compete mishandles player development so anybody decent and refuses to move to me initially doesn’t really develop at those clubs. CL has been difficult. Always finish top 8 but keep hitting PSG and City in round of 16 (bad luck). Did make one final where I went 2-0 up at halftime and fell apart against PSG in 2nd half and lost 3-2 despite a xG advantage of like 3-1. Julen Jon Guerrero should be must buy for anybody starting out. Kid turns world class and is first name on my team sheet along with Nico Williams. Karrikabaru is also a great player who is Spanish international.

Only 1 regen starting and the rest are squad players. Did you sell off Nico Williams, Simon, Vencedor, Serrano? Thus far Karrikaburu, Aimar, and Julen Jon Guerrero have been my best signings. I see you have Guillamon? I have been chasing him for duration of save but he moved to Man United and they want silly money for him.

Hi all, Getting ready to purchase 23 and get this save going. Curious, what kind of price is Karrikaburu going for this game? Usually that is first order of business as he solves the striker position for years to come. In past, he’s had affordable release clause and willing to join. Thanks
