Ah interesting. For me it was fine when I removed all the pending league additions. However, I lost a month of summer transfer window movements and with my loan farm of nearly 40-50 players I CBA to go through it again!

Even if you take the loading of the new leagues off? Is admittedly a very frustrating. Start of FM23 was ruined by not being able to register players for continental competitions and now FM24 ruined by this save games not loading bug. I'm giving it till Monday....then may have to think about a new save

These are all regions so it works. Nations do not. I have the same issue.

I think this is a bug which I have reported on the bug tracker. You can see where your scouts are region scouting but not where they are nation scouting. Was actually surprised how much this hindered me as keeping track of 15-16 scouts is actually a bit of work and the world map page was more useful than I thougt!

Seconded! Appreciate you're working hard on fix but haven't been able to play to game since last Saturday now....even an ETA to manage expectations would be good.

Following. Really don't want to lose a save I'm 10 seasons deep in to!

Unfortunately I can't access my saves because of a separate issue of 'save game could not be loaded' as a result of adding leagues in the off season. I will check but think my oldest save will be post season ending. If it helps, I kept getting updates through the year saying how disappointed he was in respect of reaching his target, even though he was crushing it. He had 24 league goals by about mid February and (so needed one more in about 12 games) and was still coming to me worried about his progress, which felt weird.

I've just noticed the football manager folder has disappeared from the Documents -->> Sports Interactive -->> folder on my laptop. FM 2023 in still in there. I've not played around with this at all myself.

I understand your frustration. I think we just have to accept this year iteration of the game is absolute garbage. I suppose they're allowed a bad year. So many things are broken, this being one of them. I am just hoping that FM24 will be the "love letter" they claim it to be.

Peak football manager. 14 game winning run with six goals conceded. Only dropped points in one game all season. Randomly lose 7-3 from no where when 7 out of nine shots on target go in and feel tactically impotent throughout the game. Why FM. Why.

Thank you - this is really interesting feedback. It's amazing how dogmatic one can get over ones own tactics sometimes. I had not identified that or ever considered playing him off the left! Will take on board. And yes, I have switched my IF R to support and is already having a positive affect, both on my nine (Sergio got two away at Bayern in CL!) and also my RWB who is now on a hot streak of assists. Long may this continue. Thank you both!

Interesting - will definitely give this a try. I've picked the roles that most suit the players, but agree could be at detriment to overall team balance. If my LW is Support I'd ideally like my LWB to be attack, which would mean changing my RWB to support to complement the R IF on attack. Speaking of the MCL, he's a 'world class midfielder' but always struggled to maximise him. I've put his profile below.....thought's on best role, within my 4-3-3 set up above?

Squad rotation - 100% agree, usually something I balance better than I have at the start of this season. Last season was a bit of a clear out so a lot of the bench are under 19's graduates this season and I've been a little averse to throwing them all in at once. However, some kinder Champions League games are allowing them more time. Squad morale - again agree on its importance. How do you guarantee going in to each game with superb though? I praise training for anyone over 8.5 rating and praise performances that stand out too. Strikers - yeah appreciate that, is just very frustrating! Appreciate there is no magic bullet in real life too, but he attributes just look so great. He's played a lot of minutes as my other nine (senior player) has been injured, but he's come back and started scoring at about a goal a game so think the issue is with Sergio and less so the tactic which is reassuring. His dribbling, agility and pace is so good I'd be loathe to instruct him to dribble less with the poacher role. Posted the coach report below, a coach who's opinion is reliable. Anticipation 14 and off the ball 15, so while not elite is still good. Yeah - woodwork is misses but it's seems to be happening more frequently to me since update. Was interested to know if anyone else was experiencing > 1 woodwork per game. Thanks for your reply

Feel so sorry for you - had the same issue for my Pentagon too. Luckily my six unregistrable players were well spread around the squad so managed to get through it, but it's such a joke SI haven't sorted this after months and months.

The very next game.... Sergio has scored (hooray!) However, we hit the woodwork three more times (is this a bug or something?) 50% of the goals came from set pieces. Oh, and conceded only shot on target but that's just bread and butter FM now isn't it.

I'm having a frustrating run. I'm nine games in to my league season with Sevilla. In those nine games, I've had seven disallowed goals, hit the woodwork ten times and have underperformed my XG. Not sure if this is just a phase or something is inherently wrong. Can not get my number nine scoring at all. Other than two blow outs (primarily driven by set piece goals - my CB is top scorer this season), I can't score from open play. The woodwork in particular is getting really boring. My number 9 (Sergio) has a season XG of 4.13 and hits 42% of his shots are target but can't score. I don't want to tinker to much as I'm defensively so solid and feel like I'm creating enough to score more too. My numbe
