  1. It's too bad mate, i wanna climb bigger leagues but unfortunately somehow game doesn't allow me. Reputation is important, okay, but there are managers who do much less and go to these leagues.
  2. Don't fast football players impress in real life too? They are also successful. There is a lot of problems in this game... Graphics, engine, reputation system etc. Pacy guys are op? Maybe. But in turkish league, i have seen players with incredibly low skills transferred just because they are fast. For example, the fact that the offensive midfield position is a dead zone is one of the bigger problems in this game.
  3. Right now, i'm managing Basel. Last three years i won Swiss super league three times, won the cup one time, reaching UEFA Europa Conference League one time and most importantly, reaching UEFA Champions League quarter final one time. And in my CL journey, In this adventure, I drew away with PSG, lost 1-0 at home and was eliminated. Pretty impressive, huh? I broke Young Boys' reign. This is the records i broke: most points in a season(100), most league wins in a season (33), fewest league defeats in a season (2), most matches without losing (39), most team goals (113). A similar adventure opened the door to Italy for Fatih Terim in the early 2000s. OFC he won UEFA Cup, i understand. And i don't expect fiorentina. But after these successes, I cannot understand why teams like Almeira, Düsseldorf, Southampton and Watford do not even invite me for an interview. Why? I know reputation is important but i can't find any jobs in bundesliga, bundesliga 2, serie a, serie b, ligue 1 or 2, bundesliga 1 or 2. Last season i eliminate Chelsea and i dance with psg. But beyond that, it might require more than just my managerial skills. I want another journey but i can't get any jobs or interwievs. Right now there is some problem in servers, i can't upload any photo. I got three stars reputation. If this is the reason, just shame on you si...
  4. Perfect talk but in the game it doesn't work. My experience unfortunately says you can't control anything, just press everywhere and run. That's it, that's fm24 unfortunately.
  5. This is just my experience: Game always dictates one style. When i'm avoiding this style, i can't even see just one beautiful attack or transition. When i make some changes, i see i'm using this "style". What is this style? Attacking & high tempo. Let's say i want to use my target forward to create some link ups. I think i need a mezzala with support role for carrying the ball and i think i need an another midfielder with attacking role. Central Midfielder with attack role suits for this. But with this, i lost the midfield, what can i do? I need to use inverted fullback for the midfield. Good idea, huh? And other side of the field, i think i need a inverted fullback. 3 defenders, 2 midfielders (for rebounds and playmaking) and 5 players for attack. Like guardiola's 3-2-5 but different. And i don't wanna manage elite teams first, so i can't use libero and finding good pressing forwards are easy then finding good advanced forwards. Some think using target forward without wingbacks is silly but i easily change it with deep lying forward or f9. Short passes, starting with normal tempo, using corners and free kicks cleverly and most most most importantly, trying to play realistically with dynamo dresden or galatasaray or santa clara. this is my ambition. but in my experience, you can't do this. the game always discourages me. it's not about winning or losing everything. this is a single player game, i'm not interested in that. what bothers me is that I feel like i'm being confined to one style. I just need a football manager experience but this games is, in my experience, a "find the meta manager". i stopped playing many times and came back again and again like a fool, hoping for something different. so, it doesn't worth. i miss my narrow 4-2-3-1 in fm12 with my amazing regen brazillian tchibo and i miss the younger friend, fm19 too.
  6. Thanks! I also think we need to re-think this ca/pa thing. Let's think of a football player. This football player may be very strong or fast compared to the Croatian league. However, it makes me think that when a Premier League team transfers this player, the player's stats remain the same. Should the player with 17 pace points in the Croatian league be the same as the player with 17 pace points in the English Premier league? It is debatable. Some stats need to be variable. When this player is transferred, his stats(especially physical ones) must rise or fall according to the level of the league. This is what I'm trying to say. Very attacking, double mezzala, too many attacking roles. This is not football. Thank you for what you showed. We're all tired of hearing this, right? All the time they want proof but they don't think this: We're tired. We are tired of witnessing the state of something we love and care about. If you want proof, don't ask us. Because we know what's the situation, and for God's sake, you guys know too. No pkm, no bug report, no proof. We're customers, we have a complaint. And make no mistake, you have to do your job well because you have no alternative.
  7. You're right and this is the root problem. We just want this: If i have right players, every realistic style needs to work. Sometimes we may fail due to morale or injuries, it's ok. Our style of play may be incompatible with the league, it's ok too. Moreover, these are things that should happen. I don't wanna say: "Things don't work, let's all of us go attacking". That's boring and immersion killer. And of course that's not football or football manager. That's not football manager because in the past days, football manager gives us more realistic football simulation experience. You're right with risk/reward issue.
  8. Don't take it personally but for football manager, your tactics are most dissapointing things for me. And i can't agree with you. This. We can't say you can't run everywhere with man city. We say you cannot run everywhere & go attacking like there is no tomorrow with every team. There is no balance in this game.
  9. I read all comments but still i'm on the same page. I still think this game unfortunately follows Fifa or eafc's way. It's a shame. Recently I saw a tactic where the inverted full-backs came forward. With defend duty... I think it is necessary to completely reset the team instructions and create them again in a descriptive way. And of course, every instruction will work with the right players and tactics. If you have right players, okay, play with sitting deep & wait. But no, you need to run, that makes me unhappy.
  10. And usually, whenever you show your tactics, they criticize based on the match engine, not the football. This is my question, is it find-the-meta/play like match engine wants or football manager? I show my tactic on the first post, i have right personal and this is a good tactic for me. It's frustrating that the criticism is about the match engine, not football.
  11. I doubt about their willingness to do this. Unfortunately, there's a lot of people who likes to say "it's your tactics". Secondly, they are always looking for proof of the obvious. I guarantee you, I would happily deal with this if I knew there would be a solution. But in the end, generally they say "there's nothing wrong".
  12. There is no problem in the fact that it is easier to set up 4-3-3. Of course finding a dm is easier than finding a raumdeuter or maybe defensive winger. You can easily set up a solid 4-3-3. And after this, you upgrade some players, maybe some tweaks and in-game changes. That is football manager. And of course you keep the morale high with the tactical stuff. But in fm, some one libero all amc formation can destroy your tactic with high tempo, attacking mentality, attacking duties and high press. Why? Because game dictates this. I cannot understand this. I cannot accept this.
  13. In this edition of fm, you can use double attacking mezzala or central midfielder with two inside forward and advanced forward. And the result is goals without consequences.
  14. This. Because of this i delete the game because they kill the immersion for me. Novadays, i just wrote & talk about the games direction. If they wanna walk fifa's way, i don't wanna walk this road.
  15. The problem is that there have been years when the game allowed for other styles. If you had the right players for the tactic you had in mind, or if you found the right tactic for the players you had, you could be successful with tight control. Is the opposing team attacking from the right wing? You would take extra precautions in that direction. Look at the meta tactics, the overwhelming majority say they skip the opposition instructions. This community doesn't wanna "play" "real football" in the "game." We just want this: If we have physically strong winger in our team, we just wanna use him for opponent's weak winger. But this game says no, if the opponent pressing hard, tackle hard, running everywhere, pass into space and using attack mentality, nothing is important. We want to think, create, imagine, select right tactics first and after, select right players for our dreams. We want this because football manager gave us this. We didn't wake up one morning with such a desire. In fm13, i win the bundesliga with hoffenheim. I use 3 amc because i have great personel for this. Game allows me for this. In fm23, i used low tempo for Galatasaray and it worked! Why? Because i got the right personel for this. I can give countless examples. I've been playing this game for years and have enjoyed it with many different formations and many different teams. I don't want real life. I just want to think, create, imagine and build.
