2 "What we've got here is a failure to communicate"
  1. Defensive Tactics, especially in Italian football, are in real life legitimate, successful tactics, and TikiTaka is still a legit thing in Spain, yet somehow FM for the past years have favoured a counterpress, counter, press more often types of tactics. The Premier League, Bundesliga, LIgue 1, etc. are not always the most successful leagues. Change the match engine so that even if you give a lot of space to the opponent, tactics restricting space are also completely playable (because it is not right now). It isn't fair how some tactics just work better than others. All tactics should work the same, it's just that they should have strengths against certain tactics and weaknesses against others. At this rate, the game is literally just going to be a Back 4, Counterpress, Counter, Distribute More Quickly, Press more Often, Tackle Harder... literally just tick the boxes. Common. Inter just defeated Porto to the Quarterfinals of UCL with just parking the bus. Simeone for the past decade has had such amazing success with his 442.
