  1. You are definitely not alone! Everything you've said is how I've been feeling for a few months. Its great if you want to use the positional play feature but definitely needs an option turn it off if you'd like to.
  2. The only way I've been able to get them to defend more narrow is to use 2 AM's instead of MR/ML. I believe RDF found more consistency with this as for some reason the wide midfielders stay too far wide no matter what but the 2 AM's can do the narrow block more often. Maybe give it a go and see if that performs the defensive block better!
  3. How's this coming along. Completely forgot how intrigued I was when I watched this game. Wishing you luck on this!
  4. Anymore on this? Liking the look of this @BanOly
  5. Using my testing tactic save which is Chelsea. Lots of players in all positions and all are relatively good players. Team familiarity obviously needs to be high for any tactic to flourish
  6. Kept majority of roles the same. Instead of 2 CWB or 2 WB's I used 1 each due to the profile of my players and that seemed to work better for those specific players. I keep tinkering with the Liberos on defend duty for that extra defensive capability and for them to be ready if they need to. So far so good! Results on the save I use for trying new tactics:
  7. This tactic has been refreshingly fun and unbelievably solid for me. Certain player traits can obviously help certain positions but appreciate the attempt to make an attacking tactic with 1 CB positioned back actually be incredible @Maddux
  8. Once again @04texag threads give me hope and motivation. Intrigued by this 4231 in particular
  9. I think what @DarJ means is that from what he's seen, the movement of the Winger on Support seems to be better with the cut inside PI or atleast what he prefers compared to the IF with or without instructions. Personally I agree with him that it's superior if you are looking for the Wingers/ Wide players to constantly be wider but then make that realistic cut in that happens in real life with a lot of players. IMHO- IF's with the PI's of Stay wider typically don't end up doing what a lot of people are actually intending or trying to get them to do. All personal preference at the end of the day!
  10. Okay mate. If you do happen to come across it then I'd love to give yours a go as I came across your jdp a while ago and I loved the write up! Dont go out of your way for the De Zerbi one but would very much appreciate it mate
  11. What was your setup with it mate, would like to give your complete one a go!
  12. This is looking rather good mate! Need to see the full tactic - TI, PI’s etc as yours is looking more promising than anything I’ve seen or created. Incredibly impressed and intrigued bud 👍🏻
  13. I'm not sure how this happens but its when you use the stay wider instruction on both. To me it makes no sense given the PI but for whatever reason that's what happens when used on the DM positions. CM's work normally, DM's do not. Perhaps take that instruction off for a few games to test but I'm confident that will help fix your problem!
  14. Love the idea behind PPMs etc but do you have a De Zerbi tactic that’s working to show on here (the whole tactic too)? Trying to give it a go with your advice as it’s intrigued me!
