  1. Just wanted to say thanks, got the laptop you recommended and have been really happy with the performance.
  2. Thanks for this, I'm very close to buying the 14" one you linked. Just before I do so can I get your opinion on one more laptop and whether you think it would be a better option, I don't know if my concerns over it being used and the more powerful CPU resulting in the fans being too loud are just me overthinking it? https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-ZenBook-UM425QA-5-5600H-processor/dp/B0C53ZXPKL/ref=sr_1_6?m=A2OAJ7377F756P&pf_rd_i=3581866031&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_p=50a92caa-1d89-4312-b8ca-8ae6627d9c53&pf_rd_r=ZB9FHCRQV1M8W0CV2NS3&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-4&pf_rd_t=101&qid=1694100110&refinements=p_n_style_browse-bin%3A182752031%2Cp_36%3A9708208031&rnid=9708204031&s=warehouse-deals&sr=1-6&th=1
  3. I have recently started playing FM23 after borrowing a laptop which has i5-3337U (ranked 770th) with 8gb ram. I'm finding it slow running 2 nations and 8 leagues with 24k players and hoping that a new laptop will be a noticable upgrade? I would like to limit myself to £500 but would go a wee bit higher if it was worth it. I'll only really be playing FM and tend to play matches in 2D, would love to play multiple leagues with a large database and have it go from day to day quickly. I would prefer a 14" screen so I can comfortably sit on the sofa with family and would like it to be quiet. I've read that 16gb ram makes everything feel nicer but not 100% sure whether I actually need it. I have never purchased refurbished electronic goods but would consider it. Quite the wish list and not sure if it is achievable with my budget so any advice is appreciated. If I can't achieve a noticable difference in performance on this budget I'll continue to save until I can. Thank you for any assistance!
