I finished second in 2nd div with a team picked to finish 10th, who is currently 12th IRL. So idk where u got the idea that I dont overachieve or that I “suck”. I overachieve EVERY YEAR on the game, I taKE UD Ibiza to la liga and to Europa League in EVERY VERSION of FM, that would never ever happen for Ibiza IRL. but NONE of this is easy. Its extremely rewarding to do it, but it takes micromanaging, attention to detail, tactical wisdom, etc. picling madrid and winning EVERY GAME is very ****in easy.

Well i imagine the youth facilities, training and recruitment matters. For example at the clun I manage all those things are rated 2.5-3 stars. And thats the talent I get. If I was rated 5-star in the 3 depts I imagine id be hauling in even more talent

I understood fines (for yellow/red cards etc) go to ONGs IRL cases. Not sure its reflected anywhere or affect your finances in any way.

Hell many here in spain would even argue zidane isnt that great of a manager. Hell, ive seen plenty average managers cruise to titles at Madrid and Barcelona in my lifetime. It makes sense that its also easy(er) with them in a video game idk at least to me

It is a video game, something that is NOT REAL life and CAN be mastered. It is also the best football simulator on the planet, yes, one is one exclusive to the other. Any video game on EARTH eventually becomes easy if u play it enough. To pick madrid and yell that its too easy is crazy imo. Yes, pick madrid, master the game, and youre unstoppable. Seems normal, its a game. Ive been picling 3rd and 2nd div sides in spain for 6 years in FM and ive yet to win a single Liga title. Def doesnt seem easy to me. Cuz its not easy to do what im trying to do w this club irl. Madrid beating up on everyone en route to 3 straight unchallenged ucl’s? It just happened irl. 🤷🏽‍♂️ hell a coach with 0 experience took over madrid and did it!! Zidane! If that aint FM for ya 🤣

Bro but this is a VIDEO GAME. There are things in the game that dont apply to real life. Like immediately changing your tactic and seein the immediate result on the field. In real life that may work, it may not. Pep encounters tons of real life challenged that are impossible to duplicate in a game. My question is, if youre playing a video game, something with limitations, and that CAN be mastered, how u gonna say the games too easy cuz u picked real madrid? They just won 3 ucl’s consecutively, irl, not so long ago. ANY game, sports or not, is gonna be relatively easy if A) youre good at it and B) you pick the best most powerful character. how can we complain that the game is too easy when the USER picked a club with unlimited resources, unlimited money, excellent world class talent at every position, etc etc. if u WANT an easier game; then u pick Madrid. But dont complain about it 🤷🏽‍♂️ im constantly using clubs like Ibiza, Zaragoza, etc and I do AMAZING things w them, but is it easy? Hell no. Thats why I pick them. if u want the game to be harder, dont pick the EASIEST club in the world 🤷🏽‍♂️

Im getting about 1-2 possible elite talents per class, 4 star PA guys, with potential to reach 5 about 4-5 good not great type players, 3 star PA potential. And the rest are JAG’s. (Just another guy). im signing about 7-8 of them per season

Im sorry man, picking real madrid and complaining that the game is too easy is insane. Its a VIDEO GAME, if u pick THE BEST CLUB ON EARTH and are somewhat GOOD at the game; do u not expect to dominate and it be too easy?!?! Come on now. and the fact that people are doing the same w smaller clubs is insane. I have started 2 saves so far, this is how its gone for me.. save 1 season 1: Ibiza. Picked to finish 1st in primera rfef (3rd div spain). I finished 2nd. Lost in promotion playoffs season 2: Ibiza. Picked to finish first in Primera rfef. Finished first. Got promoted. season 3: moved to Huesca in La Liga 2. Picked to finish 6th. Finished 9th. save 2 (started recently) season 1: real zaragoza, picked to finish 12th in Liga 2. Finished 3rd. Got promoted in playoffs. (This is the ONLY season ive overachieved big time) season 2: real zaragoza now in la liga, picked to finish 18th, im currently dead last 20th w 8 hames played lol. in ALL my years of playing FM, all of them, I have NEVER EVER ONCE won amy of the top 5 league titles. Never have won UCL. Never have won UEL. Ever. but then again, I never ever play w Madrid or Barcelona do I? I start w 3rd division teams always.

No man, I dont think so. You can “discuss” with players, not other adults in the game. The option to speak to other coaches about a loan only appears when your assman suggests you have that talk.

Meh, I feel if his most important cb-skills arent very good which it seems they arent, than the physical traits take a backseat. But def retrain him, may end up being a natural and u hit the lottery

South americans get can get Spanish citizen after 2 yrs in some cases 1. Its not that big a deal. Usually theyll come young to the portuguese league etc or u loan them there, and soon enough they have Spanish passport

In my new save, im in Real Zaragoza. This kid is excellent. Granted we are in 2nd division, but he excells at training, excells as a ball playing cb, excells as an inverted fullback on the right. Anywhere I play him he shows out. And never gets injured. I just finished the current season renewed him and increased his clause, cuz I know the big boys are coming for him. hes not too tall so probably pans out better as an IFB on the right, and hes sooo good there. Gives u a lot in attack even believe it or not w that role.

Can u do it to other adults in the game tho? What I mean is it would be cool to speak to ex club legends, ex coaches, etc basically anyone whose an embassdor for the club would be cool to speak to them and get something from that

Fatigue is stricly the heart. If its full its fresh, they cant be tired. What ur referring to is possibly match load (which also shows on that screen) which means a player can be fresh (green heart) but have too many minutes over the past 14 days and therefore hes “worn out”. Thats match load.

Yeah I dont think u can do it at will, only when ur assman tells you about it does the option pop up. for all the talks of “bad” interactions in the game, this is an area where I always thought interactions could expand. It would be cool to able to talk or “discuss” things with other coaches, ex-players, etc in the game. Like when u get the enail that a club legend is “excited about the clubs form” and u click such legend and see hes the head coach of a club in brazil or something. Would be cool to ask him to recommend a signing, or idk maybe like invite him to the match as a guest, etc. after all he is a club legend, it would be realistic if I, or the club, could have a conversation w him from time to time. It could unlock other things.

IRL today fullbacks are a key part of attacks, most the time occupying a sole wing by himself and blasting off passes into the area. It is not uncommon for fullbacks on top teams to finish top 5 in assist yr after yr, jordi alba, marcelo, dani alves, alexander arnold, cancelo, many come to mind in recent memory. that being said in my current save, 20 games into the season there are 3 fullbacks in the top 17 in assist. Thats Loureiro, Olivan and Luis Perez at 8th, 12th and 13th. the claim that u made that fullbacks rack up assist at will due to some flaw by the ME or whatever u claim is completely false. almost every player before loreiro is a midfielder or winger. U can see my cm, Toni Moya, who I alternate a lot (only 13 starts of a possible 20) is on the list.

Actually I play on the flanks. My wing back in attack role is always one of my best players and most creative players. Racking up assists, key passes, chances created, etc but ive just never had them with more assists than my CM, ever.

Inverted wing back, inverted fullback, inside forward, inverted winger, like someone else mentioned, why so congested inside? U want to try and have a balanced attack. Something I do that seems to work for me is on the side where I have an inverted forward, or inside forward, put in a wingback or fullback in attack behind them. The fullback will occupy wide areas abandoned by your inside fwd. do the opposite on the other side, if u have an inverted wingback, them go for a wide winger in attack in front of him. It will give u a better balanced attack I think.

I dont think ive ever had a fullback get more than 8-10 assists for me in a season in any edition of FM ever. My CM usually always leads the team in assists and that numer is usually anywhere from 12 to 18

So u mean the “doesnt enjoy big matches” trait can go away? I always assumed a player who has it, has it for life, therefore I avoid them. Albeit, having that trait doesnt necessarily mean he’ll play bad in big games everytime, a lot of other factors measure in too I always figured.
