Ok it happened again. I was waiting until the next season. A star player comes back from vacation and immediately complains about playing time. Player in question here is Favour Fawunmi He is a relative newer player at the club, but he has been playing nearly every match until we won the title and then I played a bunch of younger kids to finish out the season as a normal coach would do, so if he's complaining about that 3 months later, thats a bit stupid. Anyway, I uploaded the save file to the SI Cloud Service which took forever for some reason. And I got no confirmation that you got it, but it did finish uploading on my screen. Check for the filename Scott Rogers - Newmarket.fm Also I'll have you know this happened with another save, my Man Utd Save Which I havent gotten to the summer yet, but it did happen there too and the player was played every game prior to the end of the season. I dont have a save file for that I will wait and see if it happens again once this season is over.

Just make an option in the editor to disable promises.

How am I going to get you a saved game file from what already happened? I save the game regularly so its probably over written. You cant test this yourself? Or you lack game testers?

I dont see how I can give someone more playing time when he's playing almost every match unless he's injured or tired. But they still complain. How are we supposed to give a player more playing time if he's hurt or playing EVERY match?

Oh and Ive had injured players complaining that they arent playing also. This is not all the time but it has happened. The game clearly doesnt know whats going on. I gotta find my screenshot of that one.

This is stupid. When a change is made, thats it. Why is this button even in the top right corner where we cant even see it. We are paying attention to the match, not to a little tiny button no where near where the change is being made.

Nice to see this hasnt been fixed even in FM24. The button shows up in the top right corner and the player isnt substituted at all. Its not a good palce to put that button. Fix this.

I am watching this more, it seems to have corrected itself a bit more so its not as extreme . However how many yellow cards do you see in a EPL match in the first 10 mins generally? Not many. Doesnt seem realistic to see more than 1 if even 1 every single game. It seems to be better now, I'll monitor. There is another issue I will post on regarding the yellow cards.

This is spot on. I have players complaining that they want to play more, but they are in fact playing a fairly decent amount (if in form) and they are emergency backup, or fringe players. They are not regular starters... but apparently these younger players think they run the team. As always with this game too much complaining. I spend more time dealing with players and their complaints than I do training them and playing the game.

Wouldnt the water bottle just be thrown at the wall? Why does it have to be thrown at a player? Its not like Sir Alex kicking Ole's boots at Becks is it?

Players run clubs now apparently. If they dont like something the boss does, then they constantly complain. Even though we have made improvements, or we are slowly rebuilding the squad. This is not realistic. I wouldnt run my dressing room like this or my team like this. If I am manager, I am the boss. What I say goes. As a player your job is to play football. My job is to help you win matches by putting together a team and tactics that do so. Players dont dictate who comes and goes from clubs. While they may have opinions, its not healthy to a team. I dont think Sir Alex would appreciate this part of this game at all. its simply unrealistic and should have the option to turn off, which of course in the editor we can edit morale. But still, this seems to be a bit overkill.

I agree this is a major problem. I lack depth at CB? I have 7. I am playing in Northern ireland championship so we have very little money. I cant exactly go out and get the best CB in the world. So somehow the players are dictating what I do as manager? They threaten to consider their future because I didnt strengthen CB? I did strengthen it with a good youth talent that is playing better than they are. We allow the least amount of goals in the league. The beta game is broken. This needs to be addressed. Of course with the editor this would be easily solved, but since we dont have that yet, we cant change that. However, it should be corrected by development.
