They talked about "smarter transfers", and I can't afford even medium players because Monaco will ask 67M for Zakaria (who started only 3 matches in the entire season), Mallorca will ask 46M for 30 years old Maffeo, or Chelsea will ask 94M for Angelo (who hasn't played a single minute of football from 2024 to 2027 and is in their reserve team). These are examples but every single player from the 5 top flights costs at least 40M or higher, it doesn't matter if he's a bench warmer for a newly promoted team or a young player who didn't literally play football for three years. If this is smarter, I don't know which kind of transfers they've been watching in the last years.
