  1. trying to recreate thiago motta's bologna roaming cbs to become apart of a pivot in certain circumstances i have tried one libero on defend and a bpd on dribble more to make maybe go into to midfield but it just hasnt worked if anyone can help me find a solution to my problem that would be great
  2. This is my attempt of recreating louis Van Gaal's 3-1-2-1-3 1995 Ajax Tactics they defended in a 4-2-3-1 and attacked in sort of a 3-3-3-1/3-1-2-1-3 GK:SK(A) RB:FB(S) LCB:L(S) RCB:BPD(D) LB:FB(S) DM:DM(D) or RCM:CAR(S) LCM:CM(S) AM:AM(A) or Shadow Striker LW:W(A) RW:W(S) ST:AF(A) Positive Mentality Attacking Widith Wide Shorter Passing Standard Tempo Play out of defence Counter Press Hold Shape Distribute to Centre-Backs Roll it Out High Press Much Higher defensive Line Trigger Press More often Would Have Posted screenshots but i play on console and it is quite an annoying process to upload them here
  3. I also set out to create an ajax 3-3-3-1 type of tactic myself after watching kluivert on sky sports i starter in 4-2-3-1 but it is aysmmetric GK:SK(A) RB:FB(S) LCB:L(S) RCB:BPD(D) LB:FB(S) DM:DM(D) or RCM:CAR(S) LCM:CM(S) AM:AM(A) or Shadow Striker LW:W(A) RW:W(S) ST:AF(A) Positive Mentality Attacking Widith Wide Shorter Passing Standard Tempo Play out of defence Counter Press Hold Shape Distribute to Centre-Backs Roll it Out High Press Much Higher defensive Line Trigger Press More often Would Have Posted screenshots but i play on console it is quite an annoying process to upload them here
  4. Hi everyone just wanted to make a post on a rate my tactic and maybe ask for some advice/feedback on my tactic it creates a good 3-3-1-3/3-2-5/4-4-2/4-2-3-1 in/out off possession shape that has gone well but is also i think i need of a tweak somewhere because i cant get a player who brings in alot of goals i have taken the inspo of all the support roles from a legend who is O-zil to the arsenal now known as ponta de lanca The tactic is as follows: My formation roles are as follows GK (SKA) FB(Supp BPD BPD IWB (Att) RPM(Supp) DLP (Def) IW(Supp) AM(Supp) IW(Supp) CF(Supp) My instructions roughly are In possession: Default width, short passing, Standard tempo, Counter press, GK distribute to centre backs, and roll ball out Out of possession: High Defensive LOE,High Press, trigger press more often, pressing trap is trap outside. Now im marseille and we just knocked psg off their perch and finally won the league after seven season I want to press high up the pitch win the ball back as soon as i lose it and play nice football not asking for much haha any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  5. cm(d) dlp in cm position CAR aswell i think there is more but that is what i remember off the top of my head
  6. i dont mean it in that way i think its more of having to take more screenshots of the tactic maybe i am wrong and it just didnt well
  7. yh i didnt see it enough with the ifb so i went fb(s)
  8. I changed the deep lying forward to be the raumdeuter and added the pi’s you said the other pi’s are as followed keeper: pass it shorter CBS: tackle harder dribble more and the fullbacks: hold position sit narrow Dm: get further forward to slight make it 343/325 the Rpm: move in channels rest of the attack is tackle harder roam from position
  9. thanks for the advice gonna post the tactic when im next on the console
  10. i think the reason for this not doing well is its a console tactic and the i put to much text for a person doing a first post
  11. i did a redo of the tactic can post an update if you want i didnt get all i wanted at first but i think now i have done so
  12. Hello. I’ve been playing since FM2021 I just want to share my philosophy with you my philosophy is greatly influence from my childhood experience tactics was never really an importance that time. We just play knock outs on the street where it was just everyman for themselves and everyone of us is eager to always have the ball, to be where the action is at and being relentless to win the ball. This is the foundation of my tactics, fluidity and expression and love for the game. I want my team to have the ‘attacking mentality’ since I want the actions to be always in the opposition area. To support this idea I push my team’s line of engagement much higher up the pitch to press the opposition when they have the ball (trigger press more often, prevent short GK distribution and step up more) when out of possession. I want my team to have the ball more than the opposition. A patient approach however at a much higher intensity (tempo), avoiding direct and long passes as much as possible (pass into space, play out of defense). I setup my team on sheet as 442/433 hybrid wide however on attacking it will be 325 overloading the opposition’s penalty area, disrupting their defense and to cause panic. Higher work rate and aggresion is an important attributes of my players. As this formation is prone to having long balls and counter attacks - it is highly important to have fast defenders with good first touch, passing and mentality. A sweeper goal keeper with a good one-on-one skills incase defenders got beaten with long balls and I also tried my best to replicate it into football manager 2024 the results was amazing won the title with olympique marseille by flying colours as ran over everyone in the league the tactic was able to play with many managers systems as we defended in 442 like simone/arteta and we attacked in 325 like pep with the libero IFB combo and also built up play from goal kick and playing of defence like de zerbi with the 4+2/2+4 shape that is why the shape looks wierd even with the new postional play i didnt want to play a vol as i want to have a mez(s) to play like a de bruyne type of player crossing from the half space and the dlp(d) dropping between the cbs from time to time like brighton do all in all the tactic was amazing but i am still looking for tips as i wanted to recreate a the movement of a raumdeuter as my am(s) i saw a twitter post from ponte de lanca which he showed a bit on how to make havertz a raumdeuter im the amc position but he didnt go into to much detail on it also the reason all players are on support is for the very fluid even though i know it doesnt do much i just like looking at i have read alot of post on this forum which has also help widen my view on things such as rest defence and rest attack so i want to thank all of you another question i would like to ask if i could get the IFB making overlaping runs as i have the TI on but i dont see them make the movement thinking of using a fb(d) or fb(s) but dont know if the will stay back enough to make a 3+2 rest defence thank you in advance if you read this as i know it is quite a long read but will update if anyone wants one ps: sorry if the quality is bad its my first post and my tv isnt of the best quality thank you
