Yes, that is my budget but I was looking for advice if they would be suitable. Just because that's the top of my budget, doesn't mean I need to go upto it - especially if I can get a machine that runs what my son is looking for at a lower price!

Evening everyone, Looking for some help please - I'm looking for a steer as to the best <£550 (£600 at a push) laptops which will run FM24 please. That's all my son wants it for so although he would love a high spec machine, he and I know that's not going to be possible. I mistakenly thought a Chromebook would run it OK but this has proved a costly mistake and in all honesty, I've lost confidence in my ability to choose a machine that works! Any help or advice very welcome! Am I right in thinking that i need an AMD Ryzen CPU with 16GB and at least 256GB storage?
