i have all the oceania nations loaded, could it fix it if i changed all their cups to not be fa cups just normal cups so they dont get confused?

I made 32 team ofc champions league but for some reason each season there always 3-6 extra teams that qualify and I don't know where they come from. then all the teams I actually want to qualify don't. what is causing the other teams to show up? the other teams are there but they just say " group stage - group stage" while the other are "group stage - Group A"
