  1. Man, you have no idea how frustrating it is for FM content creators when our work gets stolen, re-edited, and uploaded on other forums. I think @Fenech's idea of using save files instead of editable ones makes a lot of sense. He’s built his own legendary universe, his perfect FM world, and he wants to invite you and other FM players into it. You won’t have to worry about file compatibility or conflicts when starting a new game—he’s handled it all for you. All you need to do is load the game and play. If you want to add or remove nations or leagues, you can always do that later. Protecting our creative work is always the top priority.
  2. That's actually a great idea, @Fenech! Uploading a save file instead of an editable one could be a smart way to protect your work. I'm tired of people editing our content and re-uploading it on other forums, claiming it as their own. Brilliant! I might try this method next time!
  3. Man your enthusiasm and passion for this work have truly inspired me. I might release some of my own files again in the future. Thank to you!
  4. In your previous versions, you mentioned this. So, if I understand correctly, the main difference between the previous versions and this year's is that clubs now feature the same squad for 2024, along with new "wonderkid" legendary players. Is that accurate? Will the current players remain in the squad alongside the new legends? You also referenced 'the return of the best managers and chairmen' in the previous versions. Does this element carry over into this year’s version? If so, where will the current managers be placed in this database? Additionally, if Josep Guardiola were to return as a player, who would take over as Manchester City's new manager?
  5. Oh man, I completely forgot! Is your data file compatible with other data update files? For example, many legends have transitioned into managerial or staff roles and are moving to new clubs this summer, which is likely covered in some data update files as well (like Ruud van Nistelrooy). If you change their status from 'Non Player' back to 'Player,' wouldn’t that risk causing conflicts with other files that track those changes?
  6. Thank you so much for answering my questions @Fenech. Incredible work—looking forward to the release!
  7. I still have a few questions that need clarification. Will active stars under 30, such as Mbappé and Haaland, have their ages adjusted, or will they follow your specific approach of age reduction? Additionally, the concept of recreating "Retired Person" players has both good and bad. While this method preserves the original player IDs from the database, there are instances where SI either removes retired players without converting them to "Retired Person" or deletes the "Retired Person" in the database. This could pose a risk if SI releases a minor database update for FM24 (though I suspect they won't, given the impending release of FM25). Lastly, will you be releasing a facepack for these legends, or should users rely on existing facepacks from other sources which all of legends are old?
  8. I have a few questions about your approach. Do you maintain the original FM24 database with current players, clubs, and history, and simply add legendary players to play alongside modern ones? Or do you recreate the legends and reset the game to a historical period? For players currently active in 2023, will their ages be reduced, or will they retain their 2023 age? If so, how would you handle legendary players and stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, and Kylian Mbappe? Would their ages be decreased in comparison to current active players? Lastly, when recreating legendary players from 'Retired' or 'Non-Player' status, would their awards and career history be erased? For example, if you recreate Ronaldo at age 20, would his Ballon d'Or achievements still be intact or reset? Thank you!
  9. No need for a screenshot—it's pretty straightforward. The file called 'Super Cup cup style' is exactly what I envisioned from the start. The second one, 'Super Cup group style,' matches its name perfectly. Three champions compete in the group stage, and the two teams with the highest points face off in the final to determine the champion.
  10. So, you guys manually adding Teams Rules? I thought there might be a different way to do it.
  11. You're amazing! I tested the file, and it works flawlessly. Thank you so much!
  12. Thanks, mate! You're like a magician with the editor, turning any idea or fantasy we imagine into the game. I can't wait to see the file!
  13. I wonder if there's any possibility to modify the UEFA Super Cup rules to include the UEFA Conference League winner. It could feature two matches: a semifinal or a playoff where the UEFA Europa League winner faces the UEFA Conference League winner, and the final where the victor would compete against the UEFA Champions League winner. Is it possible?
  14. You can only include Greenwood in the England squad if you’re the one managing the team. The AI manager won’t pick him, and it’s the same at Manchester United—you’ll have to take charge yourself and change some stuffs in the database, just like @giggsxbr did.
  15. @FenechIf you find a way to prevent files from being re-uploaded, shared on other forums, or used for profit, please let me know. Recently, I discovered that my work had been stolen and re-uploaded on various websites, including Chinese and Russian forums. They even cropped the cover image that had my name on it. This was so disheartening that I decided not to release any more files and keep them to myself. I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to you. I truly appreciate the countless hours and effort you've invested in this work. Thank you so much for your valuable contribution, and I wish you all the best.
