  1. No wonder! [Private message to fxbghdfn] Alright mate, you selling any of Raheems stuff or is it all gone? [/Private message to fxbghdfn]
  2. I think Walker will turn up with his mind set on neutralising Mbappe 1v1 because of the hype, and he could do. As long as he does the usual and ignores the other parts of defending, i'll be happy.
  3. That's true, only as strong as your weakest and France have a real weakness at RB with Kounde.
  4. Apart from right back, their defence is much better. England just happen to have 4 of the worlds best right backs I think Mbappe will have that subdued game due to Southgates tactics...I also think he's probably used up a lot of xG karma in the last game, so like you said, he's due a couple of misses!
  5. I'd love Japan to win this, what a fantastic achievement that would be
  6. Huge, huge game. England have a real chance if they can get France to overcommit and then hit them on the break with pace. England midfield are gonna be busy. I think 2-1 France.
  7. I feel like that's a false narrative because, 1. Wasn't he half fit? 2. he put all his eggs into the sprints and roughly came out on top, but what he did with the ball and being in position was not a priority that night; they almost scored multiple times from his position or from him giving it away. The last minute implosion was just ridiculous. He needs to start against Mbappe though, as much as I think that Trippier is better defensively, Walker is the only one who can keep up with him when Mbappe knocks it past you. The only problem may be that France will play higher up in Englands territory than Senegal did, so if Mbappe does to Walker even once, what Sarr did 3/4 times yesterday, it could be game over. I think it'll be a tight, cagey match though. Henderson and Walker should be enough to cover Mbappe with Rice blocking 1-2's. We forget that Dembele is an absolute player too. I do think Shaw and Walker are good enough though when they put their mind to it and when put in a defensive system. Bellingham is gonna go to the very top, I hope to god City don't get him. Last thing we need is another KdB.
  8. Mixed bag aren't they. So impressive in how they hustle and don't give their opponents anything, but they're so blunt when they can't get the ball to Messi. I don't see them winning, I can think of quite a few other teams with a better set of players.
  9. He's obviously too keen for his goal and it's effecting him badly because he is a genuinely good player. What a miss and what play by Messi
  10. Alvarez has done really well, considering. Sometimes I think his teammates are scared to play a through ball for him.
  11. I’ve got the Brazil game on, just cause it’s Brazil really. Martenelli and Rodrygo really are fantastic. So much ability. Antony not so much
  12. I've watched parts of a few games on my iptv firestick thingy, so I don't think that counts as a view? If i'm wrong, then i'll probably stop It's difficult because I love World Cups, so if I am wrong then I'm happy to be told after the final
  13. They're a beautifully organised team, interesting to see how they fare against Croatia.
  14. Just read that Belgium had over 3 xG Croatia gonna need to sort their defence for the next round, wasn't impressed them them at all
  15. Oh Lukaku You have to say, if he wasn't rusty, he'd probably have 3. They looked stale without him though
  16. TBF that was some save by the keeper. Messi was fantastic.
  17. Credit where it's due, group stages always come with their pitfalls and Southgate is really steady when it comes to big tournaments. Pressing was on point last night, I actually think that was Englands best performance yet. Foden, Rashford and Henderson should probably stay in, the balance last night was great. I'm not really sure about the right back situation, Walker is brilliant in some situations with his physicality, but Trippier is really sharp and alert. Depends what you want. With TAA's form this season, you'd probably only want him to come on when you're chasing, because he's a game-changer.
  18. He was seen after the game shrugging his shoulders, clearly being asked about the goal Can't believe he actually went to tell Piers straight after the game, keeping the meme real
  19. Ally mccoist talks like an absolute idiot, “he really does” bang on about the pen though, harsh af
  20. One thing I find funny with Argentina, they make it look harder than it should be. Threading laboured through balls through gaps for messi to pick the ball up deep in midfield.
