That's a gutter, although he got bullied there and should have conceded, he's been really good.

We just don't have much of substance up the pitch, do we? Plenty of drive and will, some quality in the middle but it's so frustrating to watch sometimes. 2 fantastic left defenders, 4 decent central midfielders and that's pretty much it. Anyway, half time so of course we're watching an England/Southgate interview.

0.17 vs 0.54 xG That was a tough watch all round. Everybody was decent, but Bellingham was unreal. Saka and Rice good too. I like Southgate, but I think they'd benefit from having more players to stretch play.

Couldn't do it for years though, even with these bigger names in charge. National team management is a different beast, so we can't expect Pep type precision. But his general management is really good imo! Don't think he'd cut it in club football though.

This is true, just to clarify I don't believe Rice actually does have defensive deficiencies. Quite the opposite. Anyway, here goes. Kane's looking a bit rubbish eh? Seems to have worked for the United fans, they start moaning then Trent switches play then sets up Jude.
