  1. By the way, only 5% play international mode because it hasn't been updated in at least a decade. If they had invested time and effort, people would be playing it A LOT more.
  2. He left for EA and is joining their F1 Game team.
  3. They considered releasing the new engine last year but decided to work on it for an extra year, and now they are making this announcement. It must have been a rough development cycle with the new engine, no doubt. However, there's no excuse for not planning for another year or assigning more people to work on it. Trying to sell this to grab cash shows no appreciation for the fanbase. They should sell the game and offer version 26 free of charge to those who bought 25 to support them. There's no way people should pay full price for a beta version.
  4. Miles' anger translator: We messed up with the schedule. We tried to put together stuff nobody wants to play, and now we don't have time to produce a finished game. We have to remove features and modes because we didn’t put in the work to keep them. However, we must release this unfinished game as soon as possible, or we’ll lose money. I hope this year won’t be an absolute shambles.
  5. SI is trying to sell an unfinished game with international football removed in favor of women's football. No thanks. It seems they're going the Disney and Sony route: go woke, go broke.
  6. Fixing attributes is not easy. They are connected through an algorithm that defines everything that happens in the match. Rewriting the match engine from scratch to achieve statistically accurate data would be necessary, and attributes should be assigned based on data, not just on researchers' perceptions. OOTP has that, but football is different from baseball, and it is almost impossible to achieve a result where every attribute holds the same merit as in real life.
  7. I don't want to disappoint mod lovers, but I think with the new UI modding might not exist, at least not in the same way we are used to. Certainly there will be some level of customization within the game, such as picking background and highlight colors, changing text size, etc. but that would be it. My expectation is that with this specific UI system they are using it will be totally different and coded within the game files making it no longer accessible for modding. I could be wrong, though.
  8. Check my post (two posts before yours) - second screenshot shows an opened "card". I've seen the same desing being used in wide range of applications, especially games and trading apps. I'm not familiar with the specific design code, but it seems many cross-platform apps today use a very similar design.
  9. Ah, the common bland mobile game look. I don't like where it's all going. This is a pretty common design these days. Here are a few screens from a game called Football Coach: College Dynasty. This game is about American college football and is developed by one person alone. It uses the same tile and card system that adjusts automatically for every screen size and resolution, which is fine. However, the design is so blatantly used en masse these days that I can barely see any difference in the UI and the graphical representation between different products. I really expected more from SI. Call me old-fashioned, but I like the look of old text-based sims when they actually had some identity.
  10. Usain Bolt, the fastest man on earth, couldn't cut it in the Australian league. The A-League compares to the Vanarama National in terms of football quality. I mean speed means nothing if you lack any meaningful technical ability.
  11. I am surprised by people who outright reject or need proof regarding an arcadey, easy to beat AI that is full of exploits. This has been the case for years, not just in the last version. Hopefully they turn it around with FM25 onwards.
  12. The game focuses on possession oriented and gegenpress tactics which feel like a cheat. It has been like this for years. Highly organized defensive football and counter-attacking don't work well. Despite all the great features, the game lacks an appropriate tactical system that serves the manager. If you want to experience a challenge while playing with a well built squad, you can't do much but replace successful tactics with unsuccessful ones. Hopefully that will change from FM25 onwards.
  13. I hope they fix the tactics so they actually work. Got tired of gegenpress tactics for so many years already.
  14. That's exactly what I need! Can you suggest whether your files can work alongside the Sortitoutsi real name fix, with your files overriding theirs? I want to have your team colors and names but also retain name fixes for other stuff included in the Sortitoutsi fix. Will that work?
  15. Does that include correct club names, especially for the French leagues?
  16. Put 1150 to City while you're at it. Thanks.
  17. Yeah, we trust the people we sleep with. That's the best protection.
  18. I think French Ligue 1. It's fairly easy to finish 2nd, but it is ultimate challenge to win the league for obvious reasons.
  19. In OOTP, there is a hidden coefficient called Talent Change Randomness. Its only purpose is to create unpredictability in player development. However, the effect is not evenly distributed and does not have the same effect for every player. It is still expected that the majority of talents will become top players, but this coefficient makes the difference between a player who is considered to have a potential of 160 to surpass expectations and reach 180, while a player with a potential of 180 to only reach 150. Additionally, although rare, extreme examples can occur, such as the emergence of late bloomers like Vardy or some players who have shown great talent and suddenly decline due to unknown reasons, like Dele for example. All of this is possible and happens completely randomly in OOTP with each loaded save. However, the randomness in potential are not so widely extreme that you can win the Champions League with the original Weymouth team. It is possible for one of their players to develop into a decent Premier League player, but that's the best you can hope for and it is unlikely to happen more than once in 50 different save games you start.
  20. They could really learn from Out of the Park Baseball in this regard. They have a system that not only uses dynamic potential but also dynamic CA. Late bloomers and failed talents are a common occurrence in OOTP. You may witness a world-class superstar who suddenly loses his mojo and transforms into an overpaid veteran. Such things never happen in FM.
  21. I couldn't find an answer to my questions: 1. Will there be a match engine overhaul in addition to the graphics engine? I mean, will there be a difference in how the game plays out and how it responds to user tactics? 2. Will there be an improved transfer system and player interaction, along with UI improvements? All I understood is that there will be a major graphical overhaul, but nothing regarding the game mechanics.
  22. My guess is the WBs are more involved in the possession than FBs are. Especially if you are counting on ball possession and controlling the game rather than sitting back and sulking the pressure that change alone could have killed your system.
  23. Hi guys, can you please help me out? 1. I want attributes analysis octagon to be removed from everywhere it is displayed on the base skin. 2. I would also want to remove the attributes from player profile and to replace them with PROS/CONS. How can I achieve that?
  24. Does the skin works well for 1920x1080?
  25. In such cases when you offer to clubs make sure you offer wage contribution.
