Unfortunately I don't have the save any more. I mainly just want to correct any instances with cup semi/finals being in the right venue for future appearances assuming I'm able to get that far. Looks like it's not possible on a save annoyingly

Hi,
Not sure how this happened but i've been playing a save for around 7 seasons and got my local team St Neots promoted up the leagues and into an FA Cup Semi final and then the final. Lost in the final as a Championship team but still not a bad effort. Strange thing is I noticed both were played we played at "Home" and when the matches occurred, they were in my home stadium.
Prior to starting my long save, I used the NotoriusPr0 winter update. I'm assuming this may be a bug in the way the venues are assigned. Does anyone know how I can fix this and have it applied to my save as I don't want to start again! I have the in-game editor available if needed.

Setting the age most 16 years old and sort column from higher PA (opinion of my scout) to lowest and then check each one of them with right click. If I am satisficed and it's "Approach to Sign", boom I am pressing it.
This is what I'd ideally like to avoid and to filter the list so only those that can be approached are shown. Shame that there doesn't appear to be an option to do this

That only finds players who's contracts are expiring. These aren't as they're on youth terms but you can still offer them a contract as they've yet to sign provisional proffessional contracts.
So for example, here's a player and he's only on a youth contract hence has the "Approach to Sign" option:
Whereas this player has signed a provisional full time contract so the option for "Approach to Sign" is not available:

Hi all,
Can someone please tell me how I set a search filter for finding players that have the option "Approach to Sign"? These are players who I can see that have not signed provisional pro contracts but I can't seem to find a filter option for this in the Contracts tree.

Ah, my save was started on Beta so that could be why then. I will start a new save and let you know if the issue is still happening

This is my second season, playing as Tottenham. On version 21.2 now and it's not just these teams where I have duplicate fixtures. I do get some teams home and away but most are either both at home or both away.
All of the duplicate fixtures relate to league games, so two legged cup games still have home and away ties.

True, but then i'll be offline for Steam. The update can still download via Steam, it would just be nice to choose when to perform the update - could be done within the game or in Steam

Not sure if this is a FM thing or Steam but it would be great if we could disable the automatic update and choose when to install the latest patches. It's very frustrating when you have set your team up with a tactic and things are going well only for a match engine update to be deployed and having re-work out tactics. I've had situations where updates have completely wrecked tactics and messed up good seasons.
I can't seem to find any option to turn off auto-updating so I assume it doesn't exist but feel free to correct me.

I'm not certain about this but it's just my best guess--would be nice if the game would tell you that instead of just saying "the offer didn't match my valuation" or whatever.
As for changing the default, go to Staff -> Responsibilities -> Offer to Clubs, and you can set the default requirements for development loans there. Hope this helps you.

Hi all,
Can anyone direct me to the default settings for the Loan Manager? I've looked everywhere I can see in the Loan Manager screen but can't find it. I remember setting default settings for my Loan Manager at the start of the game and may have set the bar too high for loans so want to change them as he keeps rejecting all loan offers for players on the development list even though they come within the loan parameters i've set for the player.

First of all fantastic work here with the database. Thank you for your hard work.
I'm having trouble with the face pack, all of the players are showing with the wrong faces. I've tried clearing the cache and ticking and unticking 'Use caching to decrease page loading times' but no luck.
Any suggestions?

Yeah, both my semi and final were played at Home so I suspect you are right. Pity this can't be resolved in a save for future semis and finals assuming I get there.
I haven't made it to any other semis or finals yet so will keep an eye out if it's only the FA cup or with other comps
