Stuck with it for another season, can't face re building the squad and so far I'm 5th after 12 games and finally seeing some really good performances from my midfield 3 of Guendouzi, Travis and Olise.

I've just finished the season and like you my midfielders have had a very bang average season. Struggling to get a tune out of any of them. That said finished 10th in my first season in the Prem with Bolton.
Torn between spending this transfer window setting the squad up for the new 442 or sticking with this formation.

I'm still finding this more successful than the new one. Might just be that I don't have the wingers for the new one.

I'm having more success with the original tactic than the new one. Please will you update the original with the new throw in routine too please?

I've found we really struggle defending set pieces

Its still going well for me at Rochdale (with play through the middle) - was 4th at xmas in my 1st season in the Championship but went on an awful 8 game run without a win and dropped to 20th! Ended up finishing a very respectable 10th with what was a league 1 team. Second season and after a slow start sitting in the playoffs with a much stronger squad. Be good to try your training and corner routines when you add them.

Also got a corner routine that's a bit more straight forward but is yielding a few goals.
One thing i've noticed is 'form' and 'morale' are even more important than ever this year, i've had a - win 10, lose 9, win 6 - sequence in my main save finding it hard to break a poor run of form. The run started by losing 2 games back to back against higher level teams in the cup which for some reason derailed my league form?
Testing a tactic in holiday mode with Leicester i got sacked in October with 1 point in 10 games, re-ran the exact same test and finished 3rd? It's a bit nuts this year.
But will update the thread this weekend and include some training schedules i've been using to good effect.
Any update on this Rosler?
