Ok i think i have finally crack it.... The winger tactic that is.

Now i know this has taken me ages to get right, But i don't think there is any point in releasing a tactic is isn't as good as my previous one, Now i think i have acheived that. Here is a screenshot of my current gam,e with Everton.

Some of the changes i have made in this tactic is.

Lowered the D-Line to Deep. This is because although i have been playing with a 2 man midfield the midfield does have a tendancy to break forwardand can leave the defence exposed especilly if the defence is High, But as it's Deep this gives my players chance to get back in position and stop attacks.

Completly Changed the Attack. We now attack with 4 players and by god do we attack!, Some of the best football i have seen comes from this because the 4 players AML AMR ST ST are so attacking and i am now on the counter attack they rarely come back to help out defence this gives them perfect opportunity to score goals becuase it's effectivly 4 on 4 and when you attack with the momentum that i do, Well you rarely miss as my screenshot above shows.

I haven't changed much on the defence as i think it's decent and didn't need changing that much.

I am playing with more tempo too, Simply to help the attack and get the ball moving up field.

I am really really loving this tactic at the minute. I am working tonight but expect release of this beauty in the next 2-3 days.

4 goals / game is extremly impressive.

Could you post your fixtures, and 2 or 3 game stats of 'typical game' (to show a sample of what we can expect in term of possession, pass completion, CCC's etc)

Did you make any signing, and what do you like in the 'offensive part' ? I mean what makes you 'love this tactic at the minute' ?

Hi Dave.

I'm trying your new tactic at the moment with Real Madrid. I started with a personnal one, and switched to yours after a bad game at L'pool in CL.

It's really good so far, and the most impressive game :

So it's 7 games, 7 wins, 31 goals, 1 against (an amazing long range free kick btw).

I just made some little tweaks, on the FBs and on the 3 strikers (mainly mentality) to fit my players at best.

It's funny you should mention that because i've been working on it but i haven't mentioned anything because i didn't want lots of messages asking for it untill i'm ready to give it out.

I've been playing with a Liverpool Legends team and i'll post some screens to show it's effectiveness.

These are the only fixtures i've played with the new tactic i've also tested it on a very good tottenham team with similar success.

This is the league table not too bad.

Any news about this one ? Seems to fix all the defensive issues you had in the previous versions, which is what I'm desesperatly (huh ?) looking for.

Could you post some more SS, like the game you lost with the shots analysis and the formations for example, to see where the danger come from.

Or some stats of your overall possession, shoots on targets, CCCs home / away.

I will try to use the classic tactic with FC Bayern' date=' but where can I fit Robben and Ribery in this tactic?

I tried it with Bayern, putting the left and right forwards on the wings, as 'inside forward'. Ribery (right feet) on the left, Robben (left feet) on the right. give them a high creative freedom, and often run with the ball.

my 2 Mc's are Van Bommel and Schweinsteiger (spelling ?), Tymo as DMC. A high physical midfield, with a great passing rate.

FC is usually Gomez for his high finishing rate, but I like using Olic for his mental / physical attributes on hard games, and Klose when I want to play on a more direct pass style (playing on his head).

put the ball down both flanks to use Ribéry and Robben more.

The only buy I did was buonanotte, to sub Ribéry who was injured for 4 months at the very beginning.

They probably have the best pair of wingers (Ribery + Robben), and 3 different kind of strikers (Gomez, good finisher [18] / Klose, strong man, good header / Olic, bad technical attributes, but awesome mental and physical ones).

I decided to try pushing the left and right strikers on the wing, as inside forwards (great dribbling possibilities on both Ribery and Robben), letting the central striker alone upfront.

I've also made some tweaks on various points to fit the my players.

I only tried during friendlies and it working great so far, but something is bothering me.

As you can see, it really decent offensively, great ball possession (55%+), good passes completed (over 75%), but defensively, I concede on almost every shot on target.

Any idea on what to change to get the most out of my team, and keeping clean sheets ?

It is

smashed Hull away 7-2 and Werder away 3-1 with one sent off (Mascherano)

BTW, what do you do in such situations ? as I was already winning 3-1, I removed the right FC to put him as the DMC.

okay, I think I'll not play anymore.

I'm starting with L'pool, on a current save (testing different tactics).

First game is away vs Porto. I saved here for a good reason : good defensive team, away game, using wingers with a strong FC (Hulk), so basically everything I usually struggle against.

result ? Porto 0 - 5 Liverpool (Torres x4, Aquilani x1) III Porto 5 shots - 27 shots (!) L'pool III Porto 0 On target - 18 (!!!) On target L'pool

Basically, I over dominated the game, like rarely against this team, and never with a "1st time playing with a tactic".

Next game against Burnley at home. Again, an interesting game, as I am supposed to over dominate the game, and you seem to perform not that well against those poor teams. The only thing I changed was : Boost tempo, playing faster that they can handle.

result ? 8 - 0 III 31 (15 on target) - 4(2) on target

I keep testing for a while for a full report at the end of the season (I bought Cardozo before the embargo, and can't buy anymore)
