    I have managed to fix it. I had to duplicate all the players I had added and then delete the old ones - removing all change history.

    I add players to my game frequently using an editor import from 2023; Once I add their contract details start date entered, contract end. Tick boxes for relegation clauses etc. However, when I start a new real world game, some of the players load in but show that they will leave on a free early in contract (can't find setting to disable it). The players are added to Schalke and Hertha. Please load this into a test game and you will see a number of players are marked as leaving on a free but the flag is not ticked in the pre-game editor.     To find the players, please use select attribute vision = 20.

    Hi, I add players to my game frequently and to get round an issue from Fm2023 import when players leave on a free early in contract (can't find setting to disable it), I have to set up future transfers but in the contract section there is no option to assign a contract role i.e. squad player, breakthrough prospect. Is there somewhere I can set this as players are currently being added to teams as 1st team regular despite only being on a youth contract Thanks

    Hi I have imported players into FM2024 from FM2023 but I have players that have a leaving on a free on 5th July even though when looking at the player settings, none of the settings are ticked. To get round the issue, I have had to add future transfers to get round the problem. Can you explain why? Thanks

    Hi, I have us the Editor to create players which I like to follow via Shortlists. I can find the players and create/save the shortlist but as soon as I want to add a player to the shortlist or reload the shortlist, the screen is cleared and the shortlist is blank. Steps: I create a shortlist. I find players I have added and add them to the newly created shortlist. I save the shortlist. I find a player/staff member I have missed and add them to the shortlist. I click save and the shortlist screen is cleared and when I re-load the shortlist it is blank. Thanks

    I am adding players to Bognor Regis, with a future transfer to Derby County on the 1st July 2022; how can I set the contract up so that they are signed to the Backup status instead of Important Player status? I am using the pre-Game editor; I do not have the in game editor. I cannot find the setting in the editor
