The development issue is a pain when it comes to international management. I’m 31/32 (on FM24) and have had the England managers job for about a season. I’m still relying on TAA, Foden, Rice, Mount, Rashford, Ramsdale etc. into their 30’s with very few players coming into strengthen the national pool. The fact that Cameron Archer is pretty much the best striker (and he’s not even much good) says a lot.

The press seem to ask about my experienced squad quite regularly but there doesn’t seem to be an option to reply and say that there are very few youth players coming through.

Fingers crossed for FM25. Seems the whole franchise and community is at a bit of a crossroads. The move to Unity offers some hope; let’s hope it delivers.

We’ve had people asking SI for improvements in international management but it got even worse instead

Only the turf was good. The rest was like cubic things and very low quality from what we have now.

He should've compared similar stadiums. In the FM23 footage he played at Stamford Bridge where it's expected to see a packed stadium and good lighting whereas in the FM13 footage he played in smaller stadiums from teams with less reputation.

Either way here's SI official footage

Have no intention of buying it still. I don’t even have my usual fear of missing out situation

Same here. I even have it on gamepass and haven't installed it. Something very off this year, even the marketing was pretty meh.

In the meantime, I'll play FM22 which I also got for free from amazon prime :D

    Spoiler

Elite level centre-backs can't hit those values, so far this season the the highest PL pass completion rate is 94.9% by Laporte, who is basically one of the top 5 ball playing centre-backs in Europe I would reckon and playing in one of the best team's in Europe.

Only 20 PL players have better than 90% so far this season.

I've just played Betis, and their two centre-backs attempted 198 passes, and completed.....

198 passes. 100% pass completion. One of those players has 8 first touch, 12 technique and 11 passing.

two players having nearly 100 pass attempts and completing ALL of them.

Don't forget to add Bartra  Subbed in at 82' and also had 100% pass completion

Has anyone noticed AI managers staying at clubs waaaaaaaay too long even though they arent winning anything / underperforming? They only leave the club when they either retire or get an offer from a different club. Koeman staying at barca for 10 years while not winning a single league title for example. Very fun for doing a journeyman save where you want to move to bigger clubs which dont become available :D

Yep, definitely happening in my save too.

And no-one has ever said that technically it isn't possible.  In those realms, it's possible that SI could have every prior database be importable into the current game.  But obviously they don't, because there's a bit more to it than being technically possible.

No, it's not possible and we know it's not possible to have every prior database be importable into the current game because of licensing. I don't even know what you were trying to reach here.

Having one single older build available for testing and/or just for safety in case a newer build introduces any kind of gamebreaking bug should be possible though.

This is exactly why SI should let us roll-back the update ( maybe this will not be possible because of the steam) or somehow to let us choose ME version we want to use.

Since it is so hard to make everyone satisfied, that would be a good solution. Even if changes were not made to the ME, and people just have a feeling that something was changed, they should have possibility to choose the version they want if that would make them happy.

ME changes can make some people to give up on the game which they have paid for.

Of course, people who use older version of ME should not report bugs and expect support.

It is entirely possible. Some other games I play allow this, such as CSGO (for competitive reasons) and Workers and Resources (for the reason you're pointing out). Basically they just leave the option for Steam users to choose between different game versions. In W&R case they even added this description to the older build:

  8. I don't find it weird that some people might enjoy the new UI, but I don't understand how you can be against having more customization options. That was the point of widgets, you could do whatever you wanted.

Also the reason for these changes are yet to be revealed and mostly likely (and rightfully maybe) won't ever be. But ever since another user told me how the same UI was gonna be used in the console version I can't help but feel that that was the reason.

  9. Oh you didn't like a feature that was introduced in a poorly state 10 years ago but now that it's been refined year upon year you actually do enjoy it? That just proves you don't like change.

Also, crazy that some people are against having more options and customization. You don't enjoy having stats and information in your face? Just hide them.

Has SI even made a statement on why these changes were made? Loads of people think it's for the sake of realism but I've yet to see an actual answer from SI staff.
