  1. In my current save, Marco Rose left RB Leipzig on the penultimate matchday to start at Arsenal. RB is one point behind Bayern and they play against each other on the last matchday. Which manager changes clubs 5 days before the last game of the season with the possibility of winning the title? Such unrealistic things just take away the immersion for me. AI managers should generally not swap clubs in the middle of the season. That simply doesn't happen in reality.

Squad building, youth player development, manager movements, player interactions, press conferences, international management, so many things that urgently need to be improved. I have my doubts that FM25 will improve any of this, but perhaps miracles will happen.

I've been playing since FM05 and for the first time I'm seriously considering whether I'll buy the next title.

I've read all posts about the Bayern Munich issues but I think that I will talk about some players in this club because that is my favorite team.

The first one that I want to talk about is Leon Goretzka who has been really awesome and always be the first choice in the first 11 men when he is available. I really don't have any reason why his PA is down from 173 (FM20) to 168 (FM21). I make a comparison with Frenkie De Jong who has 183 PA (in both FM20 and FM21) for his no title season. In the personal performance, Goretzka has performed better as well with his 38/8/11 (Appearances/Goal/Assist) compare to De Jong (42/2/4), My feeling right now is "holy moly" and I can't imagine how can Goretzka could be worse than this young Dutch kid?

Coman is very underrated as well, I think he should get back his 171 PA in the FM19 as he was the first choice in the left-wing position in Flick's starting lineups although he had star players such as Coutinho and Perisic.

Gnabry is pretty bad in the beta as well, I think he is still 161 PA (Please god), his PA should be above 175. He is one of the best right-wing players in the world right now and these stats are disrespecting him (Stamina: 12/ Long shot: 14/ Passing 12 and Composure 11 for 14 assists last season omg/ Off the ball should be 17-18/ First touch 13 is pretty low as well). Yes, he had a bad time with Arsenal but it doesn't mean that he will never become a world-class player although he is truly a world-class player right now.

Kimmich for me has the same issue, 170 PA isn't enough for his talent, it should be around 180. These stats aren't realistic: 15 passing (maybe 16-17), 11 long shot (should be around 15), 13 first touch (should be 15). Please remember that Kimmich performed amazingly in his right-wing defender duty in UCL run. If Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United (some high fanbase profile team) wins UCL, they will receive massive buffs but you guys say no to Bayern at least in this beta patch. You only make some improvements until we (Bayern fans) and some true football lovers moan about that. Please don't make us have no reason to buy this game as well as the reason that you guys disrespect our players.

Lewandowski's PA is not good enough in my opinion (182). Please tell me why he has a lower PA than Griezman (185) who is 29 years old right now. Lewandowski took all individual titles (include ball o'dor 2020 if there was no covid-19) and he has outstanding performances every season in his career. I think the only reason is their transfer fee and Barcelona club, right? Those are media things, not player real talent to simulate.

Even I as a hardcore Bayern supporter since 1994 have to disagree on many points.

Looking at Goretzkas Stats in FM21 i have to say: they are spot on. Goretzka is a player who I would consider a "Jack of all Trades" type of player. He can basically do everything, but does not excel on specific things. His key traits are his mentality and his physicality. A PA around 170 would be alright. I personally nerfed his PA in FM20 to 168 I think. Comparing Goretzka to de Jong is also unfair. One is more of a deel lying playmaker, the other is a more offensive orientated B2B midfielder. Of course the stats of the one who plays further forward are better.

Coman is a player who hasn't impressed me in recent years. He is fast and that's basically it. His statistics aren't very good to consider him as a world class winger. And i don't believe he will ever be one. I really like that his decision is only a 10. That is spot on. Coman is infuriating me on many occasions, because he tends to be too blind on the pitch. I don't know his exact PA in FM21, but something slightly below 170  is more than enough in my opinion.

Gnabry on the other hand could get a slight boost for his composure and maybe teamwork attributes. A PA above 175 would be way too much. He is a player with great strenghts but also great weaknesses. For example I don't think his first touch is very good. Sometimes he controls the ball very well, sometimes he loses possession because of a weak first touch. A 13 is like the middle ground for this. PA wise I would say something around 165-168 would be enough. With 25 years of age, I don't think he will add much to his game in the future to be honest.

Kimmich's PA of 170 is okay. The allocation of his attributes is the thing that matters for me. The combination of his high mental stats and nearly no technical or physical weaknesses make him one the best playmakers in the game. Could his passing or his long shots be upped slightly? Yes, they could, but it's not really necessary.

For the Lewandowski vs Griezmann part: Griezmann is a bit overrated. That's why I always nerf him down to 180. But Lewandowskis attributes make him a beast. High composure, finishing, heading, off the ball, decisions, balance, strenght attributes make him nearly unstoppable inside the box.

I also have to thank the german research team for their hard work and their active participation in this thread. It really shows the dedication you have for the game and the community.

P.S: If you find some bad english, i apologize. I already had beer :D

"or topple Bayern Munich's years of dominance I think the Bundesliga will be a great place to have a save this year.

I hope that Bundesliga will be harder this year. I always thought it is too easy to dominate in Germany. In FM18 I was able to win three titles in a row with Wolfsburg (2019-2021). For example: I needed 5 years to finally win the Serie A with Inter, because Juve is a beast.

Part of the reason why the Bundesliga is so easy to win: Bayern does very poorly on the transfer market (e.g. selling key players like Thiago to Dortmund without replacing them), tends to bring in the wrong managers all the time and rarely replaces their old players (okay they aren't doing it in real life too :D). I really can't remember a time where Bayern hasn't fallen to mid-table after some seasons.

If I do a Bundesliga Save, I will play with Bayern (my favorite team) for the first time since FM 16. But I hope that one day I will struggle and not win the title. A thing that never happened to me since FM 13. And that was my best save ever, because winning all the time is boring. Not winning the title 2 or 3 years in a row and barely qualifying for the Champions League on the last match day, that was the most fun I ever had in a Bayern save.

A strong Bayern and competitors that get stronger every year, instead of Bayern getting weaker and barely finishing above 70 points. That would be a cool Bundesliga save.
