Description of issue
Currently playing a save with Barcelona and trying to resign players after the first season. When offering a contract to Lamine Yamal as a regular starter, the board will only allow me to give him £17,250 p/w which is around half the wage he is requesting. This max wage amount is incredibly low for a team like Barcelona so I tested with some other players. Offering a contract to Marc Bernal as a breakthrough prospect only allows me to give him £1,800 p/w when he is asking for over £10,000 p/w. I also tried to offer a new contract to Patrick Dorgu (signed from Salernitana) and the max wage allowed was £7,250 for a squad player which was around a fifth of what he was asking for. However, this issue does not seem to occur with older players, such as Pedri, De Jong, Araujo etc as I can offer them contracts with the max wage amount at a more reasonable level. This should not be an issue with wage budget as I have around £200k p/w left which should be more than enough.
