    Description of issue

    I don't know whether it is deliberate or not, since my only comparison is on streams and the bitrate of the video would probably prevent it from being seen clearly.  This has been in my game since the start of beta.  I assume the game draws the grey box and it isn't a graphics file that could be corrupted.

    Hey, they are purple flecks/colouring in a specific arrangement in line with the broader UI. 

    You can see they're arranged in a particular pattern, diagonally ascending.
