  • Loan terminated even though it had a future fee and non-termination clause agreed

    Description of issue

    I am playing as Barnsley and we have Remy Vita on loan from Bayern.

    He has a future optional fee of 850k and a non-termination clause in the loan contract.

    He got injured for 5 weeks about 2 weeks before the end of the loan in the play off first leg.

    Bayern recalled him. Meaning I lost my option to buy him.

    Surely they shouldn't be allowed to recall him due to the non-termination and transfer clauses.

    Or they should be allowed but I have to immediately take up the transfer option.

    I wanted to buy him permanently once I got my transfer budget for next season.

    Someone just explained that actually there are two different clauses. Can't be recalled and can't be terminated. He only has can't be terminated so in fact Bayern could recall him and the clause is optional (which I hadn't triggered).

     

    So sorry I was wrong it isn't a bug.
