  • Star Player unhappy but has played loads

    I'm managing Brighton (who isn't) and Tariq Lamptey in season 3 started complaining he wasn't starting enough games to match his Star Player status. However, he has started every single game he was available for except for two Carabao Cup games (whole other issue that every team is putting out full strength squads). He has been on international duty for the AFCON and I suspect it's treating the league games we played while he was away as games he has missed. I'm also confused how he can hold me in the highest regard as manager but "Completely opposes the manager despite support from the dressing room.!

    Our QA team have taken a look into this and of the 6 games he could have played he's only started 2 and has played 37% of the available minutes. That isn't going to be anywhere near enough for a player who is in the star player categorically and so it would be correct that the player is unhappy in this situation.
