KOP
Does it still apply that if you sign too many new players it will take time for everyone to gel?? I am playing as Wigan and managed to get to 10th place in the first season but in season 2 after 20 games...P20 W4 D3 L13. I signed 13 players leaving about 4 original players... I am trying to play 4-4-2 and have downloaded some tactics but i am still losing... My players are... Kirkland Boyce Garrido Djourou Bramble Mullins Beckham Bruno Bentley Pires Zaki Owen Edman Pennant Jo Petrov Feret Baxter Not a bad squad for wigan , a bit old perhaps but what can i do to turn around this season...Any idea's??? gunner86
I'd be surprised if a team like that didn't take ages to gel. It's always better to transition your team over several seasons then in one summer. Some great signings though.

HunkOfJunk
Sub the tired legs at around 75mins or so, try to not keep players on esecially your midfield or defensive player on with bad conditioning as their performance drops dramatically with conditioning. KOP
From what i can see from the ME ,my defence is not marking very well and seem to get beaten with alot of through balls...I have even taken a strikeroff and put on a defender to make 5 at the back... I have changed my tactics to man mark ut how can you easily "in game" change the offside setting for my defence?? Is there a way?
