RICHY-T
Right so i have very good coaching staff, playing as AC Milan. 1. Joop Hiele, signed him, he then told me he wanted to go to around 500 clubs a month later and left. 2. There are always clubs trying to sign them, as soon as one goes off another comes. 3. This is the thing that annoys me the most, when a club approaches a coach, i offer him a better contract, so he stays, fair enough, but two weeks later the club approach again and he accepts and goes straight away. Number 3, obviously slightly different each time, has happened to me 4 times in the last half a season. Come on S.I? Staff loyalty is at what? -5000000000000000
backpackant
Maybe you get angry and swear at them too much?
RICHY-T
Thats normal for a football manager.
Magnakai Haaskivi
Offer them longer contracts so the payout you'd be owed is higher; that discourages big clubs nicely.
RICHY-T
They were all contracted for 3 years, one of the payouts was like a mill.

Eken10
One huge thing SI must adjust.

NepentheZ
I agree, this seems to be an issue people are having. I've only had 1 staff member poached from me, but from a club 2 divisions higher than myself. I do think there is a problem here, though,
RawrrrFace16
It is an issue that SI are looking at with the patch, i do believe
Magnakai Haaskivi
I dunno, I kind of like it. The cream rises to the top in jobs like this; if Manchester United hears about a coach in League One that's fantastic, they're going to try to get him. The old method - where coaches stayed with you until the end of time or until you fired them - was a lot less realistic.
Ellis_D
Magnakai - that is not just the problem though. I have seen many coaches go from bigger clubs to smaller clubs, including from my own.
coldlemon897
I'm already used to this..Everytime I have a good coach, some other club will go for him..I agree its frustrating, but its realistic..IMO
Administrators Neil Brock Posted December 15, 2009 Administrators Share Posted December 15, 2009 Personally I'd say it happens too often, but as someone said previously, the best way to discourage them leaving is by having them on very long contracts so the payout is even higher. grahamf
Maybe I just imagined this but I found it settled down after a few seasons. Seems at the start there is a scramble to get good staff, but once that is over and staff have been at a club long enough to like some of the other personnel then it calms down a bit. daidaithesequel
Have any of you noticed that when you poach some member of staff off a big team e.g. Man Utd, that chances are a week later, they will have poached someone back off you?
