The added staff/legends don't have to do anything. İts just a way of having some continuity from one game to the next.

By the way, I will probabaly open up the new sign-up thread tomorrow morning so you need to let me know before then what position you want reserved. So far, I have got:

-Nth America or Oceania

-don't really care if we have rival clubs, my player left after the first season anyway iirc

-love to see Brendanio as a coach for STI (going back to Brendanio, it was great to see he moved to Aston Villa and saw out the last few years of his career at my favourite club!)

-I'd love a new player, for STI of course although not the son of Brendanio. With his position as DR if possible.

Wow, ive changed username (macca69) since this, and have just seen this thread. Bloody brilliant of you to carry on all this time! What became of Maccadinho?

I think you mean Maccaniniho.

I'm not sure excatly as I finally unistalled FM08 once the 'What happened next' updates were completed but Maccaniniho spent the rest of his career at Juventus. He was part of the World Cup winning side in 2018 and I believe he was the first player to reach 200 caps.

Not sure when he retied but he didn't stay in the game after that.
