SRL88
Good win for Man Utd. At this stage of the season it doesnt matter how you play as long as you win games.
Cleon
I wouldn't mind going to City on the 30th and winning it there. That'd shut the ***** up. That would be awesome, I can just see the rioting afterwards. I like Welbeck although I don't see him play every week. But he looks like a good player. It strange that a team like United can be weaker than previous and yet still be a mile ahead of all but 1 team in England, is English football going backwards right now or is the rest of Europe catching up? It isn't going backwards that's for sure. There's just no easy games in England like in other leagues anymore. Plus the way English football is played is very open and quite a few goals. I don't think Europe is catching up either. Spain or namely Barcelona are in a league of their own but the rest of Europe are well behind English clubs imo. I think any English team in Europe would only be scared of playing Barca. The rest of the teams they could beat. It's just this year as been poor for English in Europe but there's always a hiccup every now and again. But with the exception of Spanish clubs English clubs are far superior imo. milnerpoint
Do think this year was a case of complacency then? Or just the two Manchester teams have had both eye's on beating one another first and foremost? I agree Barca are in a world of their own and no one comes close, but you have smaller teams like Basel and to a lesser extent Benfica causing bigger teams to struggle. Cleon
Man Utd was just an off season imo. City's downfall was arrogance, they believed they were on par with Barcalona and had the CL won before even kicking a ball.

So i take it your money is on Barca for the champs league this year?
Kriss
I think City are still to gel properly, United didn't develop the consistent ability to get results when it matters in a couple of seasons, that came from years at the top and the vast experience of pressure situations throughout the club. If City don't knee jerk and start regarding anything but winning the league and CL as failure, build on what they've got gradually, then over the next few seasons they will develop the mentality that United have. If however they just continue throwing cash around in search of the perfect squad and sack Mancini because he hasn't delivered yet then they won't do any better than they have so far. Yeah pretty much whats happened to Chelsea since Jose left, its been a revolving door of managers. They will struggle to get back into the top 2 next season, not unless there are major changes, and that looks very unlikely if this season is anything to go by. AcidBurn
I think the difference between Man City and Man United was shown over the weekend. Man United did what needed to be done and beat a team fighting for survival away from home. Man City failed to beat us and were lucky to draw, I can't ever remember a Man United team arguing on the pitch over a free kick. I think there is a good chance Man United will have won the league before that next Manchester derby.

AcidBurn
I haven't watched RAW yet, looking forward to the return of A-Train very underrated big man and has had some great matches Japan over the last few years. Enjoyed Wrestlemania, thought Triple H and Taker match was great less action then the HBK matches but hard hitting like the last one. It really is the end of the older wrestlers and wrestling will never be as good as it was in the attitude era.

SRL88
How are things withe the trouble and strife SRL88? Wanted to ask the same question!! Detailed please. I am guessing this means in relation to me moving back in with my parents? Im back at home now with the mrs and it should be ok. I went back last Saturday and wasnt exactly happy. I said to her that I was moving out on Friday and had packed all my stuff up pretty much but then sat down and thought why the hell am I moving out because technically she is the best thing that has happened to me. She HATES football with a pashion but doesnt twist that I have Sky Sports on all day every day, she doesnt twist that I watch every match even if I have no interest in Irish football, I still watch it and she doesnt mind. She doesnt twist that I play on FM 24/7 and if I dont play that I put the PS3 or X-Box on. She doesnt mind and just gets on with it. I sat there and thought to myself all she asks is that 1 day a week I dont play on the computer or watch football all day and spend some time with her. How many women would do that? I doubt there would be many. She is also 5 years older than me and I have been thinking I want someone around my age who doesnt have kids, because although I dont want kids I want the possibility to be able to plan having one of my own if I did change my mind. Then I thought, I dont act like I am 23. I have a very mature head on me probably closer to a 30yo. If I got with a girl who was my age I would think she was a kid basically because of the way she went on. Im also on tablets for anger and depression. Not that I am a physical person when I am angry, I just get stressed at the smallest of things such as towels not being put on the towel rack straight. Since I have moved in with her I havent had a penny to spend for the last year either because I have been so skint. The house we live in is so expensive and I have struggled. The lease on the house expires on June 30th which isnt far away and we are going to view a house on Saturday where the rent is £200 p/m cheaper and we will save on gas/electric as well as water and council tax. Also, because I am skint I havent been able to go out with my friends or anything because I cant afford it, so when we move and I have some money I will be able to. Just little things like that have really got on top of me this last year and I have thought that maybe a lot of the things are my fault and my problems which need sorting. It also hasnt helped that in the last few month the kids Dad has been trying to get back in contact with my girlfriend and has been driving around the village asking random people where we live. I dont want him there, the kids dont and neither does my girlfriend. He is an utter scumbag, a druggy and an alcoholic. He also smacked my girlfriend about when they were together so if I was to see him I think I would end up hitting him which would ruin my career. Nottingham Forest
So you have OCD then? Nothing wrong with that. Steven Gerrard has/had it when it comes to washing his hands.
