If i dont i will no doubt wake her up and get pelted with the usual "i cant believe you are still playing that stupid game" comments. I think my other half has come to accept the fact that I play FM and spend time on these forums. She also enjoys it when I am playing FM and our cat tries to stop all the players running around on the pitch during a game so she is beginning to encourage me to play not . Nottingham Forest Posted December 28, 2012 Share Posted December 28, 2012 Hopefully january will bring in some players to improve the squad and push for promotion. how far off ar Nottingham Forest from the playoffs? 8th in the table and 1 point off the play-offs. For a side that was fighting relegation last season and has a next to brand new squad, we're not doing to bad. However, another reason why SOD went/was sacked was because of consistency. I can only really get away with it when the football is on late on a Sat evening/Sun morning my time which I have said is non negotiable. Still on the bright side i did tell her that I didn't like sport when I first got together with her. I tell you lads that the lies work. 12 years later I am a thoroughly controlled husband. It's the fact that he managed Villa and Brum and pretty much destroyed them. I've seen a few things that he's said on the Forest OS today. So we'll see. One things for certain, if he plays dull football. He'll be gone fairly quickly. It appears that we're going to back him in January though. Apparently Fergie likes him or something so maybe we could see a few fringe players from United join us in this window. That overrated Nick Powell(easy stig, if you see this) would be a nice signing as would Wootton again. Maybe we could raid Brum for Davies and Burke too. Apart from that, keep Hutton, Ayala and Sharp. Flog Derbyshire, Miller, McGoldrick etc etc. There are probably a few more players I'd like but at the moment I can't think of them. After all, not all learning is done on field. Next term will be the time for a loan, and the after that he'll come back ready to play a much bigger role in the squad.
