Cleon
Anyone watch Mad Dogs? Yeah, it was the ******** most bizarre ending of any show ever.
Nottingham Forest
Care to explain it please? I'm get it kind of or think I do from reading up but not sure.
Cleon
Care to explain it please? I'm get it kind of or think I do from reading up but not sure. Apparently they were all killed on the beach and what we saw at the end was their souls driving on the road to nowhere from what the experts reckon. Still a **** ending though and the man who made it tried to be clever with it but its backfired dramatically
Nottingham Forest
That's what I read. Seems a **** ending and just a really wrong way to end the series. Kind of ruined it tbh. There's nowhere for them to go now either in regards to fixing it.
Cleon
They should have stopped after series 1, since then its just been 1 big repeat of what happened the first time around.
Nottingham Forest
Possibly so. But they've milked it and probably made a **** load of money.

tomtuck01
In celebration with friends and family? To celebrate what? It's the end of a year, and funnily enough it happens every sinlge year?! Is it an excuse for people to act like total idiots? It seems to be. I hate New Years Eve down my local, and generally anywhere for that matter. Fools getting pissed merely because it's the end of the year. It's taudry and embarrassing. I don't need an excuse to go to the pub, and I most certainly don't go with the intention of getting smashed off my face and falling in a pool of vomit. Gizmo7
No I think that's a way to relax and enjoy yourself, have a laugh. I'm not talking about getting to the point where you can't stand. I can't see why this is so hard for you to grasp.

Gizmo7
Not at all, I'm just explaining to you why people drink alcohol. You're acting as though you've never had a drink in your life Is drinking too mainstream for you now? Along with Christmas dinner?

You're acting as though you've never had a drink in your life Is drinking too mainstream for you now? Along with Christmas dinner? Weird Christmas Dinner jibe. I don't eat a roast dinner because I don't like a roast dinner. The fact that that is what you're expected to eat on Christmas Day is neither here nor there. As for drinking, I do it when I want. I certainly don't need the end of the week or New Years Eve as an excuse to do so.
AcidBurn
You don't like roast dinner? That's odd My sister had an Indian meal last Christmas and a buffet style one this year the nephew is young and he loved it better than a traditional roast. I only go out 5-6 times a year and when I do I like to get drunk but New Years Eve is cack. Not sure how it works in other places but where I live you have to pay to get into a pub and have to spend all night in the same place, it's too busy and too full of drunken eejits. tomtuck01
You don't like roast dinner? That's odd I used to do when I was a kid, but somewhere along the line I suppose I got sick of them.

Nottingham Forest
Still on FM13 as I keep going back to my Indonesian save and 38 seasons in I've finally won the Asian Confederations Cup. Which is equivalent to the Europa League but not as good.
Gizmo7
You've actually stuck to a save?! I'm impressed
Nottingham Forest
You said this last time . I've managed to get to season four of my Yeovil save iirc & season two of Eastleigh save on FM14. On FM13, I've stuck to this save most of the time but do go through phases where I don't play for a week or so.
Gizmo7
Oh, did I I'm struggling on FM14. Struggled with Arsenal (sacked) and now struggling with Fulham (19th). Not sure if the game is harder or if I'm just terrible at it.
Nottingham Forest
I've struggled to get into FM14 but feel the urge to start another save coming on. Just don't want to rush into it so slowly letting a side pop into my head that I can put my all into.
tomtuck01
Loving my save on FM14. Aside from having a bash with United on Beta, I haven't played any other save.

fuzzrab
Apparently it is going to be 41 degrees here in Brisbane today. I think a trip to the pub and the air conditioning may be in order. EDIT: i was just about to start a new save in FM14 and try a journeyman save to see if that gets me into it. I've just read that apparently there is an issue with starting unemployed and getting jobs offered. ANyone know if this is a random thing or will all people be affected by it? fuzzrab
It was fixed with a hotfix a couple of days ago. Thanks for that. I thought it must have been as i started a save up and was offered a job pretty much straight away.

tomtuck01
This could be a disaster . http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25599046 It's just a short sketch. Even if it's terrible, it won't take away from the previous excellence. Even the last three relatively poor Christmas Specials didn't manage to do that. Cleon
Open All Hours, Bird of a Feather, now Only Fools and Horses. Proof that Britain used to produce great TV but has forgotten how? Nottingham Forest
Rock & Chips was good. According to the Sun, there will be a full series afterwards. Apparently John Sullivan was working on a script before his death and his two sons have taken over and finished it. Sir David Jason said he has seen the new script but hasn't had time to read it properly because you can't rush something like this.

Nottingham Forest
What job is it tonight SRL. A busy night, starting at 4? Are you a prostitute? Also, I need some help trying to work out some clauses on my save. If anyone could possibly help, please say and I'll put the problem up.
SRL88
Pizza delivery driving tonight. More money than working in a pub so I cut my shifts down to two there and took three on in a pizza shop, as well as my teaching. Will probably bring home £80-90 tonight which isn't bad at all for what it is.
fmFutbolManager
Back to the office tomorrow. Been a lovely 16 days away. Looking forward to it though. Lots of travelling in the next few months which will be good as I can take my laptop with me and get stuck into my new save.
