Yeh, exactly that. They're down to 10-men. Before that, they were trying, as they were all match. In fact, Italy played pretty decent. They had the Di Natale chance, but there's nothing you can do with 10-men.

I didn't say they weren't going for it before they were down to 10 men though. Sure you've probably lost but why not chuck it forward from goalkicks and look for a flick on, bit of luck etc rather than just passing it round your back and trying to see the game out. Passing it round your half you WILL LOSE, chucking it forward and hoping for the best you will only PROBABLY lose.

Hopefully Spain will remain this good for 2014, it's about time someone win 2 WCs in a row again (last time Brazil 1958-1962).

Should be, the only players outside of the keepers who will be 30+:

Iniesta (30)

Xavi (34)

Torres (30)

Arbeloa (31)

Alonso (32)

Only doubts would be Xavi, Torres and Arbeloa surely?

Puyol and Villa too. Granted they aren't in the team in this tournie, they would've been if not for injuries.

Yeah think Puyol will be done, Villa could still make it. But of course was only taking about the players in the squad.

Villa as a back-up player would be pretty good. :D

Puyol not being there will be a big blow. Arbeloa isn't very good and Ramos is needed at right-back. So, someone needs to step up in defense.

Italy weren't even bad today, but after Motta going off injured they seemed to give up and accept defeat. 4-0 very harsh on them. But Spain deserved to win, of course. Just a brilliant team.
