Magicz
I've been reading football manager stole my life - what a book by the way - and was thinking about getting one of the older management games. I love FM 08, am currently playing FM 11, but want to go further back. I'm tempted to get CM 01/02, but wanted to know which older game you prefer. iknowniknuk
2000/2001 for me. Back in the days when you had a magic tactic of 4-3-1-2, could buy Ronaldinho from Gremio and pretty much everone from the Sweden under 21 squad.
Karna
CM 97/98. The first I played and the best. After that CM01/02 (it is now a freeware so you can download it for free from the official CM site).
dsouthy
I loved FM2008 till FM 2010 had its last patch released. I still have an hour a day spent on a long career game with this version and will properly continue. I hated FM2011 and FM2012 was ok but renewing contract's and signing players spoiled it for me. FM 2013 so far is great and will be miles better following a few tweaks.
