GreenArmy
My star striker, Rhys Griffiths, is said to be 'partially retiring' at the end of the season. I just want to know, what does this mean?
Nottingham Forest
Would it possibly mean that he would only play part-time or amateur football?

snootyjim
In my experience it means, as NF said, that they will no longer sign full-time contracts, or possibly part-time as well. After they've retired, it states it fairly clearly in their profile. I've had many players go on to play and coach and no message about retirement ever appears.
