birdy123
The award for Best Challenge goes to... Dafuge's Small Club to Big Club Challenge with 24 votes out of 36. It was always going to be an uphill struggle for the other two challenges, regardless of how great they are. Dafuge's challenge has been the centrepoint of the challenge scene since the forum opened, and has had many participants. The near-misses These are the challenges that were nominated, but just didn't make the cut. Gundo's FM08 Small club from a small nation European adventure challenge with 16 votes out of 35. This challenge has proved formidable for many of it's participants. Although pushed quite hard at the start, this challenge eventually won the title. A worthy winner of this award, Gundo's challenge is officially the hardest FM challenge of the year. DodgeeD
Good to see gundo's challenge winning an award as I've had the most fun on FM 08 attempting it! birdy123
The award for Most Enjoyable Challenge goes to... Dafuge's Small Club to Big Club Challenge with 13 votes out of 36. Quite simply, as close as it could have been. With Wallace vs Roberts getting 12 votes, and The Career thread getting 11. Dafuge's challenge picks up it's second award of the night though, with many of you voting for it as the most enjoyable challenge of the year. NepentheZ
Thanks guys. I did have a speech prepared, but I feel it'll be better from the heart. I'd firstly like to thank my dad. Without his money, I'd never have been able to afford a laptop and FM08 in the first place. I'd like to thank my Girlfriend, for not breaking up with me over the amount of FM I play, and most importantly, I'd like to thank Gundo - for inventing the challenge that allowed me to win the award. *Takes a bow*. birdy123
The award for Best Failed Challenge goes to... The Monthly Challenges with 26 votes out of 35. Another comfortable one here. A great idea which sadly never took off. Hopefully next year they will be back with a vengeance, with great new ideas and plenty of regular participants. birdy123
The award for Best Sign-up goes to... The Eurovision Striking Contest - The Battle Begins with 25 votes out of 36. Taking nothing away from the other two sign-ups, they were brilliant. This sign-up was a cut above the rest though. The regular updates, and great idea behind it made for a sign-up with longeivity and plenty of laughs on the way. A top effort, WW, well played.
