manyBuddhas
I would like to set up Group G for the 2014 WC so that I can simulate different outcomes. It's a "Who will advance?" scenario I have in mind. I don't need to create the entire WC draw. I have searched through the editors' forums and tried to reverse-engineer other people's efforts, but am at a loss about how to set this up. I have experimented with the FM 2014 editor, copying and modifying competitions and such, but find the whole process pretty inscrutable. Please let me know a good way to go about this or point me to some resources. Thanks.
ronaldo1026
One way I was thinking about doing this is exporting each team and creating a tournament outside of your save with them in classic mode. Not ideal, but that's one way. I wish SI would release a special World Cup patch that had the World Cup set up accurately, and you could start in, say, January 2014. manyBuddhas
Correct, and just for Group G. I would like to simulate the group stage with Germany, Ghana, Portugal, and USA.
manyBuddhas
Thanks, I have never used Classic mode, so I will take a look at that option.
