I wasn't thinking along scatalogical lines, but if that's what floats your boat, i'm not one to judge.

I have to admit to being fickle when it comes to O'Shea.

His first season for us I absolutely loved him. But despite his chip against Arsenal his increasingly bad performances meant that I became anti O'Shea at the start of this season. However his heroics v. Spurs and then his goal against Liverpool, plus the fact that he has looked like a footballer once more (if still a **** one) has meant that I am coming back to an O'Shea lover.

Plus when I found that video I realized that actually you can't hate O'Shea.

He is not even close to United quality. He found his level with West Ham and Spurs.

I forget did Forlan beat Eto'o to the Golden Boot that season?

And as for Kanoute no thanks, one of those clearly more suited to playing in Spain rather than Britain. Given Sevilla's rise over the last few years I'd expect him to be replaced by a player of similar ilk but notably superior relatively soon. His age is also an issue since he's coming up on 30 isn't he? If we were (but we shouldn't) go for a player of that age range I'd rather go for Benni McCarthy.

Yeah 10% or so does seem overly optimistic but I suppose in the grand scheme of things with us being in 3 competitions still and with other factors taken into account as established in the article I can see how its about that level.

& I'd like to see the breakdown of how they establish how influential each of our players have been just to see how far ahead Vidic is!

O'Shea has always been >>> Richardson

not hard admittedly but still.

btw to the one who asked how Kieran had managed 5 yellows this season.. its because all he EVER seems to do when come on is give the ball away and try and show "commitment" by fouling opposition players.

possibly the most talentless sh*t I've personally seen in a United shirt

Central Midfield: David Jones (Derby)

Up there with Lord Lucan and the Bermuda Triangle is the mystery of why David Jones was allowed to leave ManYoo for Derby in a £1m deal and Keiran Richardson is still at Old Trafford. Jones is a player who always seems to have energy to get from box to box and time on the ball when he wins/receives it. A set-piece specialist, Jones has been central to Derby's success this season, just as he was at Preston last year. He might well come back to bite Fergie on the arse (hopefully not literally) next season in the Premiership.

screw that. Get a spare ticket, go to an Audi dealership, ask for an afternoon test drive. When you're in the car, offer the chance for an afternoon at the footy, then get the free parking.

Okay maybe you're idea was better.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content"> Larsson lauds Reds' spirit

Henrik Larsson feels United's team spirit is as good as any he has sampled in his long, illustrious career.

The Swedish veteran, back at Helsingborgs after a 10-week loan with United, claims he was taken aback by the club's family atmosphere during his brief time in Manchester.

Larsson told his Icons website: "I have been in a few dressing rooms in my career and I can say that the atmosphere at United is as good as any I've known.

"There is a fantastic spirit and great banter. That is probably what I will miss the most simply because I've enjoyed being a part of that family of players.

"My last match against Middlesbrough was a little bit sad because it's always difficult to leave guys that have become friends and who you've enjoyed working with. They are a great bunch of lads and everything about my time at the club was fantastic.

"The club itself, the players, the fans and the gaffer have all gone beyond what I could have hoped for. I was only there for 10 weeks but I felt I developed a good relationship with the fans."

The 35-year-old striker also took time out to praise the organisational side of the club, the buzzing network of behind the scenes staff who look after the players' every whim.

"I will take away a lot of things from my time at United and one of them will be the impression of a club that is so well organised that nothing is left to chance," he said.

"Nothing is taken for granted and the club will help the players with absolutely anything. You are made to feel part of the most professional set-up. The training facilities are second to none."

The Swede feels United's cocktail of youth and experience can yield great dividends this term, but also believes that mixture is indebted to Sir Alex Ferguson.

"I believe United are capable of winning anything they are competing for because they have talent all over the park and throughout the squad," he said.

"There is the right balance of youth and experience and even young guys like Wayne and Cristiano have been at the club for three or four years.

"You have fantastic players like Scholes, Solskjaer, Giggs and Neville who have all the experience in the world and younger guys like Carrick, Vidic and Heinze who are great players and will only get better. You can see them growing and their potential is phenomenal.

"In Sir Alex Ferguson United have a fantastic coach and manager. He's done it all and when he speaks you listen. He has so much experience and such a love of the game that he keeps bringing something new and exciting to the club.

"His passion is amazing and it just keeps him going on and on. That sort of passion for football and for the club will help him continue for as long as he wants to stay and that can only be good for the club.

"I can see him carrying on for ages and improving United all the time. It's been a real honour and joy to work with him." </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Such a pro, come back :*(
