Furious P Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 After a recent club world cup win, I noticed that my hall of fame stats had been reset and I not show as just one cup win despite having a hell of a lot more. Is this a bug in FM14? I noticed that even before this happened I was showing as one less PL win than I actually had. Is there a way to reset the stats? Furious P Posted August 23, 2016 Author Share Posted August 23, 2016 Thanks, I found it. It was /Users/Shared/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2014/hall_of_fame.dat on Mac. Probably \Users\Public... on Windows. Deleting it cleared me off the HOF completely, I assume it'll get re-generated when I win something Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Furious P Posted August 23, 2016 Author Share Posted August 23, 2016 Actually, come to think of it, that probably won't reset it as I re-built my machine recently and hadn't restored that file. I guess it builds from start if you delete it, rather than regenerating all of your stats from the beginning of your save game. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
gunner86 Posted August 24, 2016 Share Posted August 24, 2016 Yeah, so if it get's deleted/isn't moved over or restored, it creates a new file and starts at the next time you win a trophy. This happened to me all the time with FM13 and was looking to make a hall_of_fame.dat editor, but bumped into some obstacles. If it doesn't happen anymore than I won't bother pursuing it anymore.
