lckyby Posted November 18, 2016 Share Posted November 18, 2016 I think there could be some improvement with the defensive player roles and flexibility in the rigidity of the current roles. For example with full-backs (whatever automatic/support/attack role they are set to), both players tend to go forward at the same time. Could there be some option for one FB to go forward while the other stays back to keep a back 3? This happens in real life and committing both FBs forward all the time isn't great for potential counter-attacks. Also with centre-backs. Say you want one CB to step out and be a stopper and the other to cover. At the moment only one side of the duo can take one role, which consistently leaves a gap in one side of the defence. Could there be some option for the stopper/cover roles to alternate? So for attacks from the left the LCB steps out, while the RCB will do so for attacks from the right?
