Montenegro are possibly the shock qualifiers here, winning a fairly tight group and certainly embarassing their neighbours Serbia who could only finish 3rd in their group! From a home nations perspective, it is nice to see England & Scotland both there, Scotland holding off the challenge of Holland late on thanks to 4 goals from Jason Healy in the last 2 games. 2nd Place League Table In the 2nd place league table, the top 8 sides qualify for the playoffs, the 9th place team goes no further. The unlucky nation in this case was the Ukraine. The remaining 8 sides enter a 2 legged playoff in November: Playoff Draw The top goalscoring contest turned into a highly memorable one with 5 players finishing joint top on 12 goals, including 4 superstars. This means that all 4 of them have received 25 bonus points this month! This capped off a great month for Mahnus Donaldson, who also broke the N Ireland goalscoring record this month as well, gaining him another 25 bonus points! Kyle Van Smith maintains his place at the top of the charts after the October games. However, you would have to think that this being a World Cup Season that one of the superstars from a big nation will be a strong contender Elsewhere, out of nowhere basically, Alex Drew has suddenly started to play for Rep Ireland and has started banging in the goals. He now looks a reasonable contender for promotion this season to Div 2.
